I am with Garcia's father, NO REMATCH! he lost badly, not even a close fight... if Garcia goes to England he will get robbed for his titles if it goes to a decision. Amir is just a B fighter not in the elite level...

You won't remember but people said that last time too. He's a young fighter, he can learn and adjust. The problem is is that he hasn't made the necessary adjustments under fire - not with Peterson, & now with Garcia. He doesn't tuck his chin in, pulls back & relies solely on speed. Don't care how fast you are, you can be timed & your clock will be punched. Won't even go there about that delicate chin.....

This sounds like he's going to have a different trainer in his corner if he get's that rematch.

I think most like Khan and still think he is a good fighter..I just think some don't like Khans fans and the hype he gets for doing what a fighter is suppose to do..Fight the best out there.. And Khan doesn't do this?

In the end the fighter is the one fighting the fight...whether or not he takes on the advise of his trainer is totally up to the fighter. Khan fought with Garcia's fathers words in his ear...and he DID NOT fight the he should've fought. Which was to box a brawler (Garcia); Khan fancied himself a KO artist w/c is furthest from the truth. And now he's blaming Roach for not giving him more time in training???? Wow!!! "It's a poor musician that blames his instrument." Khan played exactly into Team Garcias hands, by letting all that was said before the fight get to him. Khan should put the blame on his lost to Garcia on the man he sees in the mirror. Shame on you Khan, if you want to leave Roach just say so and be a man about it! B/c that's what he really wants to do...and should he leave Roach this will be the last we boxing fans here in the USA will see Khan fighting here.

I'm not butt-hurt. I won £200 betting on Garcia to KO Khan. I just don't like seeing people hate upon a good, young fighter. Hating isn't giving an opinion. Saying something like - 'Khan is nothing but an overhyped bum who needs to go back to England' is hating and not constructive. Your right anyone who says Khan is a bum is talking crazy..And are hating..

roach is a far over-rated trainer but he even couldn't correct all the amateurish moves and reactions of Khan, as IMO, Khan's 2 comfortable in this style...I doubt a rematch will happen as now Danny's got bigger fish 2 fry...

It's mostly US fans whose fighters just don't get the same level of support as UK fighters. British fighters are invariably national stars who are able to generate huge support and some need to get used to that because that's how it will always be. Sure they lose from time to time, every fighter does, that's what happens if you don't duck and take on the best available opponents away from home, true boxing fans are grateful for that. The hate for Khan in this thread is crazy, like it is for all British fighters. Considering that Khan has achieved more at 25 than all the losers on this forum will in their lifetime, you should show him a little respect. Boxers lose boxing matches sometimes, it happens. Now unless you've got a cure for cancer, go out and achieve something before you criticise others. This forum is seriously pathetic. Khan just doesn't get it. He needs to leave Roach. Roach is an ok trainer but he's far from that great outstanding legendary trainer they try to make him out to be.

I know Garcia's dad opposed a rematch, but money wise, what would be a more lucrative option than a fight with Khan in the UK. Fight Zab for the name then fight Khan for the money.

Why in the world would Garcia who does not have a mandatory rematch clause or the need to fight Khan again because the fight wasn't close go to London to Amir's back yard to fight him sounds dumb as hell to me I wouldn't take my 0 on the road! Tell Amir to battle his way back up Garcia/Peterson is next!
