Don't know if anyones come across this yet? It's from the video with Dibella and Arum about the Chavez-Martinez fight and Arum goes on to say that the only reason that Golden Boy are getting all these showtime dates are because they promised Mayweather will fight on HBO.
Probably just Arum being Arum, found it on the site that hypes fights.

14 days and the fight will happen! oops nevermind
0 days and the fight will happen! oops nevermind
50-50 and the fight will happen! oops nevermind
how is that sticking to his word?
arum didn't say no to 50-50 after pac accepted testing. floyd changed his demands again. you are combining 2 things into 1. aka not being honest with yourself.
imagine if floyd and pac both agreed to 50-50, testing, and the only thing preventing the fight was the weight penalty. after 3 years floyd finally accepted then pac suddenly said oh wait you only get a 40 million flat fee now. same thing happened but in reverse but because floyd did it he's the man!
You are making excuse for Pac about testing. Excuses WILL not be accepted about testing in todays boxing... Too many cheaters and like I said then, there will come a time when Pac will look VERY VERY badly for refusing.
All he had to do was agree to test. He didn't. He walked away and has yet to do any kind of testing that he says he has no problem in doing.
To answer your question. Yes, if Floyd went on a spree of fighting losing bums like Clottey, Margarito and Mosley. Then being clowned by a 39 year old LW and technically losing to a JWW. I would agree that 40 million is one hell of a deal for Floyd to get.
By the time Bob allows the fight to happen (pacs very last fight) I wouldn't be surprised if its less than 40 million.
Floyd has stuck to his word, Bob Arum is the reason the fight has not been made and Bob has made it clear that Floyd is right.
No matter what % cut or demand Floyd had, Bob would not have allowed it. 50-50 or a flat rate. Bob said NO. That is a fact.
Like I said years ago and like Bob is saying now, when he is ready he will make the fights he wants. Bob's been doing this for decades. Stop being a fl()mo and giving Floyd all this super human credit as if he could stop Bob Arum from doing what he does best. Lil old Floyd does not have that kind of power.

pac was the one who caved into floyd's demands. then floyd changed them. if floyd wanted the fight he would have stuck to his word but oh well.

Pac is the one that changed. He hasn't looked the same since Floyd asked him to take a blood test in 2009 when Floyd offered 50-50. Pac walked away.
Besides, you have been proven wrong by Bob himself. If Bob wanted the fight he would have made it already.

yet floyd's the one who constantly changed his demands and prevented the fight from happening. floyd fans would make good politicians. they can just say what they feel, not what is true.

You talk about what is true. Then why say floyd kept changing his demands? The truth is manny refused 50/50 over ost. Floyd offered compromise cutoff days, manny still refused. Floyd went back to 0 days after that. Again floyd fans love the truth, its just we can't get manny fans to stick to it.
First off how would he know? He doesn't, it's just another Arum rant of complete lies.
Apparently he's friends Les Moonves, the CEO of CBS, which owns Showtime.
Has Floyd ever done a fight with Showtime?
That's Arum's whole point. Arum is saying GB is bull****ting Showtime with that promise.
Bob Arum is so pissed that Floyd left his pocket...
His manny pac is done, people know Floyd's not the reason the fight hasn't been made and that people do not think Pac could ever beat Floyd. The marketability is no longer there. Now its time for Bob to move on and find other ways to promote his fighters by using Floyd's name.

Al Haymon may have, I noticed that he has pretty much taken over Showtime with his fighters...which is not really a bad thing because Haymon got a very impressive Roster Of Fighters
So if they did Promise Mayweather to Showtime for at least 1 Fight....WTF IS WRONG WITH THAT? I like Showtime Broadcasting Team a lot more then I do HBO's OLD BITTER TEAM
So I personally wouldn't mind seeing Mayweather on Showtime, hell I would love to see Mayweather fight at least one fight on Network TV
Floyd has been saying for years now that he gets 100% of his money.
Richard, and Al hayman make their money by using Floyd as leverage to get money and dates from the networks.
Thats why Floyd fights nothing but Goldenboy fighters.
He gets them on 24/7 and in front of a big PPV audience.
Why do you think Canelo is always on Floyds undercards?
Because Goldenboy is using Floyds name to build up their fighters.
In return Goldenboy brings sponsors, and other relationships they have built over the years to the table to help promote Floyds fights.
Al Hayman gets Berto and all the other fighters he manages big pay days and dates on the networks off of his relationship with Floyd.
But Al doesn't have a contract on Floyd.
Seems correct, really it would just be a matter of prestiege to either network so even just bringing in that thought could really spark a bidding war for Floyd.
Showtime could spend a lot just to say Floyd fought on our network, and it would probably be worth it as long as they are commited to boxing and a lot of the cost would be eaten up by PPV revenue.
