Selcuk Aydin will face Robert Guerrero on July 28 for the interim WBC title. But I think this will be a so easy match for Aydin. :boxing:
imo his rival must have been Berto or Bradley. :fing02:
I like The Ghost but I have do have my concerns especially after seeing the Soto vs Matthysse fight, that is exactly how that fight could play out
you make that big jump in weight and your first fight is against one of the strong guys in the Division...no question Guerrero can out-box him, but can he hurt him and/or can he Out-Box him for 12 Rounds and avoid his Power
either Aydin walks through his punches and catches him or Guerrero puts on a Boxing Clinch and pick Aydin apart
I'd take Robert in this.... only 3 things to worry about
1. The new weight and power of the class and if he can handle them
2. His long lay off
3. His shoulder injury.
If all three are green... then it'll be an easy win. Dan Dan showed you can box him
Wouldn't it be fun if we had an influx of Turkish fans that only cared about one fighter? Why does that sound familiar...
Oh well, Guerrero is going to stop that in its tracks, by UD
hahahaha!!! that is funny!! And no it would not be great. I know you are being sarcastic. (I hope)
Interesting that you use the word frustrate, if I recall correctly, Aydin has punched a referee in frustration.
He may even take a loss by DQ.
I could see it happening too, he might throw Guerrero to the ground
i talked to roberts brother today and he is ready to go no problems with shoulder he looks real good in sparing hasnt lost any hand speed i think he will suprise aydin and all those that feel the way you do we will find out on fight night lets dance

Oh God, please no. Boxingscene already has too many no-nothing dipsh*t fanboys who only care about one fighter.

Technique wise:
Guerrero >>>>>>> Aydin
I totally agree, Guerrero is a superior boxer, he will frustrate Aydin and cause him to get careless.

Guerrero is actually bigger than Aydin and has a longer reach. Aydin will get taken the distance and eat stiff jabs all night...UD "the Ghost"
The phrase "out-box" will be used heavily that night. Guererro has this. The interesting thing will be to see if Robert is still aggressive after the injury and long layoff.
