I know a lot of Amateur/Professional Boxing trainers who say the future of the heavies are all training out in Russia, Ukraine, Poland, and Germany and he said there are a handful of good ones from Cuba.
Some interesting stats on Klitschkos for Americans.
Klitschkos last six fights have sold over 285,000 tickets
Klitschko made over $30 million in 2011
Klitschko was the most googled athlete in Russia, Germany, and Poland in 2011.
in that case it is dead
if European fighters dominate the division it must be weak
traditionally American fighters have dominated
think of how exciting it is to watch the klitchskos fight :lame:
thats like saying football is dead because your team sucks ass. Or tennis is dead because the americans aren't winning, or the olympics are dead because the USA isn't topping the medals table. Its just sour grapes because alot of people in the states would rather ignore a sport they aren't winning than give due credit and admit that somebody else is simply better than they are.

nice gifs. u got a link?
when is the last time you watched a heavyweight bout worthy of pay per view
be honest
or a heavyweight bout you were scared to go to the bathroom cause you felt
you might miss some action...its been a looooooong time for me.
so even if it were two good European fighters it would be interesting.
Does your stupid ass actually expect a serious response now that you've admitted you were serious? :lol1:
You're just getting out beat by better competition. It's like saying football must be dead because your team sucks at it or American football is dead because the US is the only team that plays - one country for an entire sport - imagine that.
It starts in the amateurs. People say the better athletes are going into the NFL and basketball now but in reality the US still has a steady flow of young healthy heavyweights in the amateurs who are just getting beat by mainly Europeans. Your amateurs don't have success so they're less likely to cross over to the pros. The Iron Curtain fell and rest of the world's standards for boxing improved significantly so boxing is no longer free game for the US.
Where are the rest of the Europeans in the lower weight divisions? The only divisions they dominate or are even competitive in are probably the two weakest division in boxing, Crusier and HW. If you watch boxing you can CLEARLY see a massive decline in the skills of these fighters now days in the HW division.
Also you're acting like Eastern Europeans are dominating the HW division when in reality the HW title will be up for grabs once the Klitschko's retire! There is absolutely no clear successor at all, Tyson Fury, Chisora, Arreola etc. all have a great chance at becoming the future HW champ and all those guys are trash.
The American HW boxing scene has been gradually declining since the 70's with the rise in popularity of the NBA and the NFL. Michael Jordan became the world's first ever billion dollar athlete and the most famous athlete in America in the 80's.
Seth Mitchell was playing college football, hurt his knee and some other stuff, boxed for the FIRST time in his life in 2006 at age 24, had just 10 AM fights went 9-1 over 2 years, turned pro at age 26 and is now probably America's best boxing prospect.
Deontay Wilder is another example of a failed athlete who turned to boxing and won Bronze in the Olympics.
Irony, or idiocy?
