He just redefined unifying the division as only winning 3 out 4 belts, and focused on talking about Nishioka. He mentioned Mares too, and dropped Rigo's name for a split second with no further comment. That fight isn't happening anytime soon.
LOL Montial Was the Smallest and the weakest Champion in that Division, the top fighters in that Division at the top was the 4 Guys in that Tournament, if I am not mistaking Agbeko and Yonnhy Perez was like #1 and #2 when that Tournament started then it was Moreno (who wasn't in the tournament unfortunately), Vic and Mares, Montiel was rated like #6 or #7 while he was Champion so you can hype the win up all you want but Montial wasn't anything special, he was out-boxed by a OLD WASHED UP Marc "Too Sharp" Johnson lol
Goddamn those rigotards are ignorant as fuck :
The Hasegawa victory, which unified the WBO and WBC 118-pound titles, elevated Montiel to No. 1 in THE RING’s bantamweight rankings. He also joined Donaire in THE RING’s pound-for-pound ratings.
http://bit.ly/uTwZeC
I bet you don't know who Hasegawa is either. :lol1:
And I was responding to an idiotic post that said Donaire ducked Mares at 118.
I ain't switching nothing. You made the ridiculous claim that Donaire ducked Mares at 118 :
Donaire iced the bantamweight king while Mares was starting to make a name for himself in the showtime tournament. You did not follow the division closely back then, you probably did not follow boxing closely period.
I guess Donaire isn't CLEARLY ducking Rigo either huh?
Rigondeaux... Maybe... Just maybe. But Nishioka for sure.
Oh btw I changed my mind. Ill be using my piece of art I made on Paint so DO NOT put it up as your avi. It is copyrighted as of now.
LOL Montial Was the Smallest and the weakest Champion in that Division
Sounds like the same scenario we had tonight, no? Starting to see the trend here with Donaire.
i was responding to the part where you said mares struggled vic...........
yes, & so did donaire against mathebula.
And I was responding to an idiotic post that said Donaire ducked Mares at 118.
Shows how much you know cause Donaire actually did mention Rigo's name. DURF
You seem to like switching stuff around don't you?

You're boy is a duck. :hail:
Ducked Mares @ 118 and possibly @ 122. Cause we know he ain't fighting Rigo... Maybe he'll just find another excuse.

lol nah u corny azz n***a we just tired of hearing the rest of u closet fanboys and the do-boy brigade cranking up the excuse machine, same muthaf**kas wit the pale & shovel ready to bury Gamboa after "ducking" Rios when his relationship with Arena/TopRank fell apart, same way u were ready to lynch Quillin for not taking a Golovkin fight on months notice after having a fight with Rubio lined up lol
Fickle azz, gon' sit somewhere kid ya trollin runnin out its mileage
Oh fk... You're sig... God damnit that beats my avi I made for Light_Speed. :'(

yes, & so did donaire against mathebula.
He only reads and comprehends to his own convenience. Same way we were discussing Mares AND Rigo but he switched all the focus to Rigo.
seriously how the hell did donaire duck mares when one is with top rank and the other is with golden boy
he's just butthurt and emotional that donaire didn't say rigo's name
Shows how much you know cause Donaire actually did mention Rigo's name. DURF
Did the mathebula fight take place at 118? I was discussing Donaire vs Mares at 118.

donaire struggled with Mathebula (i consider mathebula a c class fighter)........donaire only won the fight by 1 point on my card.
never mind with the moronic judges claim. doniare literally almost lost this fight........it was ridiculous.

Donaire is not going to fight Rigondeaux, this is JuanMa and Gamboa all over again, Arum will keep them away form each other!

i disagree. its one of the best fights, not the best. no matter how u look at it. niskioka is the man in the weight class sure, but he is coming off a year layoff and he is past prime. a fight against rigo and either guy is just as good imo and lets not mention mares/donaire etc. theres a lot of great fights to be made. its funny how everyone is acting like only nishi matters, seems more like ppl are giving donaire a reason to avoid certain fights.
Nishioka might be off a year by the time it gets made but I don't see him past prime. He looked good against Marquez and was on a roll at 22 and earned his spot as top guy. Mares has one win in a class against a barely rated Bantam (at a catch) and Rigo is still a work in progress. I would love to see both fights (rather see ND-Moreno), but Nishioka is THE fight to take first. That's the earned 1-2 in class right now.
No excuse to avoid. I just think there is an order things should happen in. Based on who has done what at 22, Nishi should be first. been on that since before WV2.
I like how you put all the focus on Rigo. Mares isn't battle tested either is it? I guess there's never been a GBP-Top Rank fight before huh? Do we need to rewind to Gamboa-Ponce?
Ponce is not a young undefeated champion so GBP had no problem letting him fight a TR guy.
seriously how the hell did donaire duck mares when one is with top rank and the other is with golden boy

They know about the TR/GBP rivalry, they know all that shit but their brains shut off when it comes to Rigondeaux.
Best fight can be made in class. The fight he should want is the one he clearly stated was his 'definite.'

Mares is with GBP so you know it ain't happening. See that's the problem with fickle ass fans, it's all about "what have you done for me lately?" Like an annoying girlfriend who won't shut up. Donaire is battle-tested, he beat guys who were more proven than Rigo and now he's going after another guy who is more proven than Rigo. Keep hating.

Donaire-Nishioka is the fight that needs to happen at 122

Donaire is not going to fight Rigondeaux, this is JuanMa and Gamboa all over again, Arum will keep them away form each other and Donaire likely moves up soon goes to 126 won't fight Russell or Mikey Garcia and will collect Belts form the worse Champions in that Division like he did at 122 lol
:nonono: Cherry Picking...METHODICALLY! Arum is a GENIUS AT IT!
cuban fans are just retarded
Nah not all cuban fans are like that, just this new breed of Rigo-tards. They make paktards look rational.
DUUUUCK :boxing:
And what has Donaire done ever since? What about Mares? And please save the "He just unified" excuse bs. Cause tonight will be more remembered as the night Duckaire ducked Rigondeaux than anything else.

LOL he destroyed Montiel who was the #1 guy at 118, while Mares was struggling with Donaire's leftover AKA Darchinyan. Haters have short memory and questionable boxing knowledge.
