Who do you prefer: Mayorga or Bundridge

How does Mayorga even get considered for this fight? Who is next Felix Trinadad? I would rather see Lopez, he atleast beat Ortiz who was in line for the fight. Golden Boy is going to ruin this kid, only fighting bums and washed up fighters, they could fight a better opponent at 154, one of the deepest divisions in boxing.

Bundrage is not that good but he is a world champion so Canelo fighting him in a unification fight is ok. To defend his tittle against Mayorga would be a disgrace. It was bad enough when Cotto gave him a tittle shot 16 months ago. So Canelo would be defending his tittle against a guy who has not fought in 18 months since his KO loss to Cotto. Mayorga has been KOed in 4 of his last 7 fights.

The fact is Lara is too much risk vs reward. Now you can b_itch and moan all you want but weve always seen this in boxing. Its not like team Canelo made this s_hit up. Canelos not Mayweather hes still only 21 and has flaws in his game. He could dust off k9 but unifying the titles makes it harder to hand pick opponents. Lara is gonna fight Vanes, at least Lara/Vanes is a match-up worth making. GB could've chosen any other LMW, and they went with Mayorga? They could've chosen Quintana, at least he doesn't have as much wear and tear and would stand more of a chance. They're choosing from the bottom of the barrel with this one.

Canelo beats both guys but at least Bundrage would put up a good fight before going down in flames. Mayorga would just get smashed in a few rounds with no chance in hell to win. I seriously doubt if Canelo would even break a sweat putting a beatdown on Mayorga at this point. At least K9 has some decent pop in his right hand while Mayorga's only hope would be to offer Canelo a cancer stick before the fight. This...........................................;;

Because you're defending the business of boxing I would presume. I cannot see another reason why you'd defend ginger. i think canelo is/was an asset worthy of protection. i also try to be as objective as i can, but i do like canelo as a fighter. i think he's got a lot of tools, and his starpower is something you cant teach, and much more rare even than boxing talents. that being said... mayorga? do they have a time machine? how the hell is this guy still getting big fights? there's smart business and completely robbing people of PPV dollars this is robbery of PPV i was already leaning toward the martinez and chavez fight (i'm betting chavez to win if the odds look good.) now goldenboy has made my decision easy.

neither, canelo would make easy work of either one. i guess it comes down to if you would rather see mayorga get one last payday or one of the weakest titleholders in boxing lose his belt. but both fights are garbage, its a shame too bcuz there are alot of great matchups for canelo at 154.
