Who do you think is the worst headbutter out of those 3?
I think Ortiz is pretty much ruled out for me because he's no where near as regular as Bradley and Ward and he never had a fight stopped directly because of his headbutting although he blatantly headbutted Floyd with a ferocious looking (and DQ worthy) lunge of the head.
Bradley had both the Campbell and Alexander fights stopped only due to his headbutts and Ward only stopped Kessler because of his very severe illegal headbutting throughout the fight. Had the Ward fight been outside of his hometown no doubt he would have lost that one by being disqualified.
So anyway, who's the worst offender out of the 3?

ortiz...he uses his head every fight with intent...bradley has a head first style, sloppy but not intentional... ward is aware, but not blatent with it... ortiz is the only one that uses it with intent on frustrating/hurting his opponent...imo of coarse...
its obviously ortiz, hes a dirty fighter. be it his head or some other foul he will use dirty tactics to win. that doesnt apply to ward and bradley. they have alot of headbutts bcuz of their styles, they dont go in there trying to foul like ortiz. granted i dont think they care if they do end up butting someone either, but its not on purpose in teh first place.
i saw ward retaliate a foul once, thats the only time ive seen him foul on purpose. other than the kessler fight i dont think he gets into that much fouling anyways, its just been blown way out of proportion. froch, johnson and abraham arent as clean as ward and thats just in the s6.
hopkins should be in this poll though, like ortiz he also fouls on purpose. he just doesnt do it blatantly like a dumbass.
Ortiz is a very dirty fighter, but not really a headbutter- I have only seen him throw one headbutt. Ward and Bradley are the kings of headbutting together with holyfield and hopkins.
shouldnt the question be "best" illegal headbutter?
the worst is clearly ortiz's retarded ass. the best is probably a guy like hopkins ore holyfield. they are super sneaky with it

Ward is the worst.....he does it intentionally and fights at home which is allowing him to get away with it.
You don't deserve to be a Raider fan if you're talking bad about Ward. Smh. And I don't even like the Raiders.
Ward is the truth, no point whining about his headbutts
none of Ward's opponents woulda beaten him anyway
it's been a part of Bradley's fights, but give him a pass, he's cool
fuck Ortiz though, he's a punk
holyfield was the best hands down...look at rahman head...in slow mo he headbutted him but was so smooth following with then right the ref never even saw it...beautiful headbutt
Ortiz has the most blatant and horrible headbutts of any I've seen of the three. Bradley's tend to come because of how out of control he is, and Ward's are usually sneaky enough where you aren't sure he was completely to blame.

do you know how many times ward butted kessler during their fight? twice, that was it. how often does that happen to ANY fighter? it's not like he uses that on a consistent level. didn't use that vs froch at all and i doubt he means that.
The only fighter who does it intentionally on that list is Ortiz.I'd say that the only fighter who does it blatantly is Ortiz. Ward and Bradley are both quite savvy inside fighters and I'm not sure that their use of the head is entirely unintentional.
I'm not saying that either of them necessarily think to themselves "ok I'm going to headbutt my opponent right now" but rather that they know what they're doing when they lead with their heads. If they can put themselves in a position where there might be contact and can get away with it, they do.
But to answer the question, Ortiz is clearly the worst regardless of whether his was an isolated incident. Neither Ward nor Bradley have driven their head into an opponents mouth the way that Ortiz did.
