Donaire overrated and running scared

That's simply one of those fights where haters will spend the rest of their lives making a case for Donaire losing. Yes he got hit more than usual. Like Cotto vs Mayweather. But won convincingly vs an opponent who keeps his guard up well. Like Mayweather vs Cotto. I also scored this fight for Cotto. Donaire is overrated but he's running from a guy who has 10 fights and hasn't fought a single A level fighter. :lol1: TS apparently doesn't know the definition of overrated.

rigo is overrated since upsetting darchinyan in2007 donaire has had 14 consecutive tilte fights against some of the best fighters in the world...that's a lot of hard work and a long time getting to where he is...why dafuq should some one with 10 fights walk into a gr8 opportunity and huge payday based on amature pedigree???? rigo hasn't earnt it...how would u feel if u was donaire and some nobody that got gifted a title against another nobody walked into a shot at u with out putting the years of work in that u had to put in to get to ur currant standing inthe p4p list???? seriously stop riding rigo's dick..and let him get5 years of title fights experience first and i guarantee u he will lose..nuff said:bryce:

I felt Vazquez won the Donaire fight. you should watch that fight without audio and u ll be surprised. Vazquez was touching Donaire with his jab all night long. apart from the knockdown, Donaire didnt win anything in that fight vazquez barely did anything for almost the first half of the fight...so to say donaire didn't win a round aside from round 9 is wrong. also in round 3 donaire rocked vazquez jr with a left hook and that was easily a donaire round too...

Unfortunately, there is a business behind boxing. It's not just guys in a park making their own decisions to fight the first one to call them out. Just because a fighter is called out, they still go through their promoters, have contractual obligations, maybe their managers/promoters already have a plan set for them that they can't just entertain every top offer on the table. I'd like to see many big fights as much as the next. But we blast the fighters themselves in every case when they're not the ones controlling their fate 100%. This is prize fighting. And really, because of the nature of the sport, promoters are trying to help their fighters make as much money as possible. To keep their fighters marketable. They may not be looking to do back to back to back super fights. But a mega fighter here and there with some "in betweens" while that sought after megafight is being formalized. Martinez vs Chavez Jr is a good example to me. So many were speaking of Chavez facing a Kirkland or 168lber or Martinez fighting at 168 or something. But I think they've both been on this crash course. In order to preserve the intrigue, they both need to stay active, but undefeated and handle any mandatory to keep belts until a deal can be reached on the business logistics side of things. It sucks, but it's a business and each fighter is a brand. Some fight dangerous opposition after dangerous opposition. Some fight dangerous opposition every 2-4 fights. Some fight one or two in an entire career.

He's the real deal, I've been critical of him because of the size advantage he's had against these over matched opponents but he's got crazy skills to go with that size. Very entertaining fighter to watch, the only thing that disappointed me was how WV2 was able to out jab him so easily, I'm sure he'll work on using the jab more. Other than that he's the real deal and I can only think of two fighters who could derail him, either Moreno or Rigondeaux.

I was once a big fan of Donaire especially after he beat Vic but it seems he want fight anyone of the same skill level. Rigo is calling him out and his excuse is the fight is boring or Rigo doesnt have enough experience. Rigo is a champion and if he green Donaire then tax that anus and leave him like you left Fernando. and he has subsequently said he would take on Rigo to unify the belts on the radio show I run so that ends that I wasnt as impressed by the win over Montiel or Vazquez Jr because Montiel was small how could he be small? you do realize Montiel had been at bantamweight during the same time Donaire was at 112lbs right? in fact Montiel had been at bantam since 2008 while Donaire's fight with Montiel was barely his 2nd fight there. and although a good fighter didnt have any advantage in the fight. being at bantam longer, having momentum going his direction especially after KOing Hozumi I would say are pretty good advantages Against Vazquez Jr I thought he would murder this late bloomer, after all Arce had just demolished this guy. Arce did not demolish WV2. In fact, he dropped Arce hard in round 4. What I saw was a limited fighter who was on the brink of getting defeated and lacked any concept of what defense was. Ive never seen a top fighter with P4P rankings hanging over his head look so bad. Just like Pacquaio movement seems to be effective and his power didnt seem to go up with him from the lower weights. Donaire isnt as great of a fighter like MARQUEZ WHOM ALWAYS SEEMS TO GET SLIGHTED. I have donaire outside of the top ten P4P because he is running and didnt deserve the praise in the first place. :popcorn: the rest is just opinion which you are entitled to. Wrong but none the less

If anyone here is overrated, it's Rigo, period. But I do think top rank is keeping them apart. I wish I was Donaire I'd beat his a$$ & get it over with real quick like.
