Why didnt HBO or Showtime pick up Haye vs Chisora

Come to think about it, with the fight being in the UK it would air late in the afternoon over here, there would be no conflict with the Kahn fight. They did this for Wladimir vs Haye I think, I believe they showed another fight later that night. I could be wrong though.... ya that would be sick if they showed it right before the khan fight, too bad

I think it was a Gamboa fight.

Well, HBO has another fight that same day, Kahn vs García if im not mistaken. As for showtime, who knows, I just don't think this fight is causing much hype this side of the puddle (I like it, and hardcore fans probably do too). Unknown foreign heavyweights just don't seem to be appealing to casual fans.
