Probably not gonna happen ever because Pac is tiny and Freddie was scared to have him fight above 150, but still it seems like Bob Arum's wet dream.
Think about it though Pac's last fight he goes for the ninth world title vs. JCC jr. if he wins it would be an amazing farewell fight for Pac if he loses it would be somewhat of a passing of the torch for a ppv king (like DLH vs. Floyd and Pac). Not to mention it would do big ppv numbers. Also not too long ago people thought Arum's devious plan was to someday have Pac fight JCC jr.
Reasons it wont happen: Pac loses again soon which wouldnt be too surprising, JCC jr. loses soon to either Sergio or whoever else; doesnt seem all that likely JCC will stay at 160 for over a year; the fact that JCC is a frickin huge MW and Pac would be a tiny MW; Roach will probably never have Pac fight above 147 again.
Let me reiterate before people start calling me an idiot or 'casual' boxing fan or whatever I know the fight will more than likely never happen I'm just bringing it up as a conversation so we can just entertain it for a bit.
he's probably already offered him the fight at least once! that's a best case scenario for JR. boxing people know who he is at this stage (and if he's clean he's growing on them.)
the heads of casual fans would certainly turn to watch manny pacquiao getting knocked the hell out. pacquiao is very faded, and JR is massive.
even with the difference in size, i'd give pacquiao at least a shot were he in his prime
jr is a lot better than he used to be, and he's got a legit chin, but pacquiao would at least have a shot were he in his prime. pacquiao was a beast in his prime. i'd say he;d be a 5-10 /1 dog in my eyes. a 35/1 dog (josesito flippin lopez,) just beat victor ortiz, so stranger things have happened.

I will watch this fight if they do it at 150.
I was just thinking about before when some people thought that Arum was eventually going to put Pac and JCCjr together then thought of it would be an intriguing farewell fight for Pac, aside from Pac-Floyd.
I was just busting your balls. To me, the weight difference is crazy. It's like saying JCC vs Adamek.
It seems like you knew what a phenomenally stupid idea it was, yet posted it anyway. Lol. A head-scratcher for sure. How about Vitali and Pac have a farewell fight against each other to close out this era of boxing.
