Victor Ortiz is a warrior and will be back even stronger

I called Ortiz decision on the radio show and my line of thinking was along the lines that even if Josesito did well there was no way he would walk out with the decision There were stretches where Ortiz' size and strength glared out there seemingly making my choice a correct one then Victor went all Victor and did something Robert Garcia told me years ago he would do in big fights, find a way to blow them first it started with the back of the head shot then it kept on with no clearly seeing that if kept utilizing his strengths he could walk away and look forward to 9/15 I've known Lopez and his trainer since 2007 and I always knew that he had the heart of a lion, he needed it for this fight because that was clearly the on thing he had over Ortiz Ortiz' days in terms of being a marquee guy are probably done, I asked a GBP exec what do they do now with Victor and they had clue, said that he is literally unmarketable, and essentially would not cry if they released him He's not built in the way we like our fighters to be. I loved the fight last night, I cant complain on the undercard or main event. Ortiz got caught yes, he will be back stronger and lets hope he has a speedy recovery. Dont forget Lopez was almost knocked out about 3 times. The rematch imo will be PPV and ortiz will be stronger and smarter in the ring. Ortiz is only a warrior when he is winning or has the upper hand. He came to the Lopez fight with more talent, size, power, speed, ability, and experience, but a smaller heart then Lopez. Ortiz could had still win and even knock out Lopez. Its a shame Ortiz is blessed with such talent yet his heart makes it irrelevant when it counts.I agree 100%. Pro boxers are held to a higher standard of gameness than the average guy. Their bravery and ability to take pain and continue is part of the reason they are pros. Ortiz does not have much heart or will power to go with his good skills and power. Let's see how he does in a rematch. That will be his chance to redeem himself. Was his jaw really broken?
