Do you consider him undefeated? I do. Dude got screwed over in both the judah and alexander fights. I guess you just can't keep a good man down. I'm happy for the guy, he finally get's a break. So many options for him now!
WAR LUCAS!!!!:drive::drive:
Good win for Mathysse. I had him winning the Judah and Alexander fights as well. His resume would be pretty good if he had those wins. Anyways, he is exciting and I look forward to some good fights from him.

Looks like that pic was taken before the fight, because Matthysse had a welt under his right eye when it ended.
Anyway, I thought the Judah fight could have went either way. Matthysse started slow but came on late after giving away a lot of rounds. The Alexander fight on the other hand, I felt was a clear win for Matthysse. He won at least 6 rounds and had a knockdown to boot. Plus one of the rounds (round 8 I believe) was dominant enough to be considered a 10-8 round for Lucas.
Lucas rattled Alexander and should have won. Heck truthfully Devon should have 3 losses instead of just 1. Kotelnik was another robbery!
yah that was a big robbery i felt...it's a shame that kotelnik retired right after too.
I think he gives Khan all sorts of trouble. Would be a good fight.
He would, excellent timing and body punching, and the guy is a terminator. He looked like he might just go away last year after the Alexander screwjob, I'm glad he didn't.
He beat then both. He got no credit whatsoever for his body work in the Judah fight. I did notice though that showtime made sure the world knew he is an excellent body puncher. As long as the commentators put it out there, people will pay attention.
I'll be honest. The only fights I've seen him in are the ones in which he lost &, in my opinion, he beat Judah but the Alexander fight was close. Wouldn't moan if either guy one.
But anytime an American complains about 'overseas decisions' just needs to look at Mattysse (or half a dozen Africans) of the last few years.
lucas vs. maidana! make it happen!

I haven't watched the Judah fight since a couple months after it happened, but I remember not thinking that was a complete screwjob. Alexander was though, definitely.
Yes I thought he won both as well. Judah was a close fight though so I understand some saying he let that fight go by giving away rounds. He should rematch Judah if no one steps up to fight him.
