Ortiz-Khan vs Ortiz-Canelo...

I want to see Ortiz fight Canelo. He trashed Canelo so this will be his chance to back up the trash talk. Later on Khan vs. Ortiz at 147 would be a good fight.

Would pay good money to see Khan get wrecked. It depends how khan puts on the weight. If he puts it on properly, he maybe trouble for anyone.

Ortiz Khan

Khan vs Ortiz would be great for boxing because it would answer a lot of questions about both fighters. For Ortiz: heart, chin, mental fortitude, etc. For Khan: All of the above plus "Are you REALLY ready for Mayweather or just that paycheck?" in this match up I believe Ortiz has more to lose. Ortiz vs Canelo would catapult either fighter to new heights and would serve as valuable experience for both since they ate so young. For Canelo, depending on the fashion in which he wins, a win over Ortiz would be a nice feather on his cap. In this match up I believe he is the fighter with more to lose. For Ortiz, if he defeats Canelo, this would set up future fights with Cotto at 154, Canelo rematch, Perro Angulo, Kirkland, and Ortiz track record shows he will jump across weight divisions to fight the best (win or lose). So, if Ortiz knocks out Canelo I can even see an Ortiz-Martinez fight at 160. That would be huge...anyway...this is just me on too much coffee. I'll get off of my soap box now... Lol

Lotta Khan hate as usual :lol1: I'd love to see Khan-Ortiz, but Ortiz-Canelo is great too. I'd just prefer Khan-Ortiz because they're 2 of my favourite fighters and i'm pretty sure it would be a FOTY candidate. We need more matchups between very good fighters in or approaching their primes

Ortiz destroys Khan at 147!!! he makes him quit or he gets laid out. Khans only chance to win is to bring Victor back down to 140. Canelo Ortiz is an interesting fight IMO. It will hinge on how well Victor carries the extra weight and if he can get inside on Canelo and do damage, no way he out boxes him.

I would have preferred Ortiz vs. Khan for the right to fight Floyd, but Alvarez needed an opponent after Williams and Kirkland were off the table. Ortiz was a naturla fit. Mexican American, Top fighter, a big WW that could easily fight at 154.
