Cotto: 94 million (1.5 Million PPV's) ***HBO never relased the official May-Ortiz PPV numbers, but the 78 million in TV revenue was released and confirmed. So we'll go by the released numbers at all. Total: Roughly 472 million/78.6 Million per fight (8.52 Million PPV's/1.42 Million PPV's per fight) Pacquiao De La Hoya: 70 million (1.25 Million PPV's) Hatton: 47 million (850K PPV's) Cotto: 70 million (1.25 Million PPV's) Clottey: 35 million (700K PPV's) Margarito: 64 million (1.15 Million PPV's) Mosley: 75 million??? (1.3 Million PPV's???) Marquez: revenue not released/unknown (1.4 million PPV's???) Bradley: revenue not released/unknown (950-1.0 million PPV's????) ***Bob Arum released the Mosley and Marquez PPV umbers, though HBO never did. So we'll still go by his numbers there. But he never released the revenue that those fights generated, so we only have Pac's other fights to go off of in terms of PPV revenue. And the Bradley fight has yet to be confirmed, but for the sake of making the argument more equal, lets say Bob Arum tells up that Pac-Bradley did 1 million PPV's. Total: 361 Million/60.16 Million per fight (8.9 Million PPV's/1.11 Million PPV's per fight) We couldn't use the PPV revenue for the Marquez and Bradley fights, because Arum or anyone never released the Marquez revenue numbers, and hasn't released the Bradley revenue numbers either. I did use the Mosley revenue numbers for Pac, though those are highly questionable as well, and I use the PPV numbers Arum said for Mosley-Marquez-Bradley, though they are like I said, highly questionable. What do you think the split should be, in all honesty???

both generate big numbers but they need each other to make the biggest fight in the history of boxing, floyd maybe making a little more but 50/50 is still reasonable.. I'm still leaning towards Floyd to be the one who is avoiding that fight, and he made that obvious a few months ago by giving stupid answers to his interviews about his health, self-preservation, and the bouts Ali shouldn't have fought for the fans and other whatevers. Yes, we can dispute with that all day, but actually its still pacquiao who truly sent Michael Koncz to mayweather jr. If he doesnt want the fight why would he send that guy over there and make the guy call him over the phone? that was a realistic move for me, and floyd didnt do anything but tweet.. Floyd said "yes, i talked to him over the phone and offer him a deal".. but then again. how where they able to talk on the phone? because pac sent koncz. mayweather would've done nothing still.. and what kind of offer did he presented? 40 million dollars without a share on the PPV? what a shame.. you could spit on that. thats a very very obvious deal-breaker to every person who can understand..pac's counter offer was more than reasonable and logical, 45-45 and the remaining goes to the winner. cmon. they both just generate just about the same money. the only difference is that pac gets less because ofcourse of arums share... and thats no reason that the 50/50 be unreasonable.. I still agree with what roy jones said, "why does he allow pacquiao to be with these guys if he believes he can just whip manny?", "what if they'll beat manny? then all the credit goes to the other guy, not to floyd, if floyd truly cares about his legacy then he won't allow that"...

Manny was trying to say if they are at a stalemate at 50/50 then he would give in a little if that is what it took to get the fight on .... what the exact magic number is, we don't know but he meant more like 51-49, 52-48 .... but not something crazy like "I FLOYD WANTS ALL THE PPV MONEY" and Floyd said, "all Manny has to do is TAKE THE TEST AND WE HAVE A FIGHT" so almost EVERYONE thought it was going to be 50/50I know I thought it was going to be 50/50 like before until Floyd made his generous 40million for you, all the rest for me offer.

If Mayweather Jr doesn't like 50-50; Then he should agree to the Proposal which 60-40; With the WINNER getting 60! Getting 60, ain't hard if you gonna believe what his Team and his Boxing Fans are saying that Mayweather Jr gonna beat Pacman easily! I think that 's Fair enough, giving bigger share to the WINNER!

Floyd changes his mind as often as he changes clothes. It's not like Pacquiao took a blood oath to give Mayweather more money when they fight.

Nope, research the facts before you post. Mayweather requested to a judge that he have his jail sentence pushed back so he could fight Pacquiao. The grant was wished. Mayweather calls out Pacquiao. Tells him to stop ducking and to step it up. "May 5th, let's make it happen." Immediately Bob Arum comes into the picture with TWO excuses already lined up for why Pacquiao could not fight on May 5th. 1. Apparently he still had this mysterious cut that takes over 6 months to heal. 2. Bob Arum was apparently trying to build a stadium, and says the venue wouldn't be ready for use until June (knowing Floyd Mayweather has to check into Jail on June first). Floyd knew Bob Arum would not let his cash cow fight him, so he moved on to Cotto. what i said was before floyd wen tot jail . before he went to jail floyd was not eager to fight pac thus the pricing himself out

My take on the matter is that it isn't as black and white as Mayweather sells this many ppvs and Pac sells this many. If they were to fight it wouldn't be like Mayweather brings 1.2 million people and Pac brings 1 million so Mayweather should get a 55-45 split. This fight will be a whole different animal. It will be a much bigger event in not only boxing but sports where it will be a must see event for every sports fan. Neither Manny nor Floyd can achieve this type of mega event on their own which is why I think it should be 50-50. :hail::hail: Very nice post brother! Common sense, don't you wish more people had it..

40/40...20 to the winner. 60/40 to the winner. Make them fight for it. Id have no problem with Floyd getting the higher split though. I know the outcome would with no doubt be him getting Kod...so If i were Mannys promoter..id take the smaller share knock the parasite out...and then on the rematch milk him on the split and regain the balance. Win Win! But 60 to the winner sounds fair. :boxing: Best way to do it.

imho as big as these guys are 50-50 is the best split but as mentioned above they could work on and fight for the higher split... 45 each and they fight for the 10% if they want bigger stakes 40 each and they fight for the 20%...

People are tuning in to watch both fighters, not just one or the other (besides nuthuggers). Floyd himself had absolutely no problems with 50/50 for the last 3 years. He AGREED at negotiations to 50/50. He was being a reasonable. Exactly, this will be the highest selling ppv ever because Manny and Floyd are finally fighting not because one fighter has a bigger following then another.
