Sounds like 2 old farts with plenty of power are also boxing fans and disgusted with the sport as much as we are. Honestly, let's be honest folks - if we had the ability to speak aloud and possibly make a difference about the sport we would do it too. Can't say I disagree, just because I know I'd be spewing out the same **** if I was in McCains political seat.

I'm not a big fan of government getting involved in everything but they should get involved in Boxing. The promoters and sanctioning bodies are a bunch of snakes and swindlers. Bob Arum is one of the biggest snakes going and only cares about Bob Arum. The fans are held hostage because of this guy. Look at all the fights lately. Top Rank fighter vs Top Rank Fighter. We the fans can't get the fights that we want. I think the government should step in and clean boxing up. It can't get any worse then how it is at the moment. It's truly pathetic.
