I have not been on the site for a while and missed all the back and forth about Pac and Tim.
Now I saw the fight online and my initial thought was Manny won but Bradley did well. (similar to how I felt with Floyd and Cotto).
Bradley wins, Im surprised they gave Bradley the win, thought Bradley did not win and didnt understand.
All the controversy begins, news internet etc.
So I say to myself I will rewatch fight. I rewatched twice and like a nerd I was even rewatching during fight by rewinding rounds and watching action and exchanges in slow motion (the works...lol)........Here comes the controversial part. I had it a draw. Please give me your thoughts...and if you want to troll ...go right ahead too.
I dont love or hate either fighter.
initially I had it 10-2 for pac, but then rewatching it a week later I scored it 8-4 for pac (possibly 7 to 4 with 1 round even), so either way pac won it for me. I see both sides arguing all the time, and I am FAR from a pac fan, but I just dont see how you can score the fight anything but a win for pac, I just dont...
The 1st time I watched it, the fight was close. 2nd time same score. 7-5 Pacman. However Pacman only put a stamp on about 3 rounds. Bradley won 1-2-10-11-12. I gave Pacman the benefit of the doubt in most close 1's but I do not have a problem with them going the other way.
Pac won clearly. I've watched it about 5 times and the most I can give Bradley was 4 of the last 5 rounds. I picked Bradley to win due to his aggressive style and thinking he would be able to bully Pac on the ropes, didnt happen often enough.Pac did have some wild misses but Bradley whiffed way more. Bradley got some real clean shots in those exchanges, again, didnt happen enough. There was nothing he did enough of or more effectively than the champ that night so i still cant see how he won...And adding on to the conspiracy talk, am I the only one who peeped Bradley making a lock/key gesture when being raised up before the decision?then it looked like he winked.Whats up with that?
pac stans are on a whole 'nother level of addiction
I get it. Like coke heads( Cotto fans).
Crack heads (Marquez fans)
Pot heads (Floyd fans).....
but these Pac fans are like that bath salt addiction (makes you eat flesh). crazy. joking of course..lol
The thread this was linked in is still active, but the video is worthy of being shared here as well imo.
I thought I was losing it.....I dont get what people were watching(if they rewatched it).....because initially I was confused too.
Keep it coming and thanks guys I honestly thought I was losing my boxing sanity. Im seeing all these polls and and being overwhelmed by the casual fans...lol
You are. Don't let the flomos and bent judges draw you into their delusion.
First time i saw it i gave it to pacquiao by A LANDMILE. Second time around I gave it to bradley by an inch. I can accept a draw but the fight was bad. No way like Floyd vs Cotto which was a much better fight and Floyd dominated allot more clearly. The thing is, Pacquiao has power and speed. But technically he isn't the best fighter in the world. He requires getting into a rhythm and if you stop that and have some power you can win clearly. So i just want to see the rematch.
Had it a draw too. No where near a robbery.
Saw the fight 3 times, live on PPV, then downloaded it from the TB section, then rewatched it on HBO replay. Had it a draw all 3 times.
Can't see how it could be scored 11-1 for Pacquiao like Lederman did. Or 8-4 for either fighter, or 7-5 for either fighter. The best and most unbiased score I could come up with was a Draw.
Brian Kenny had it 7-5 Bradley and he loves hugging Pacquiao's balls like a P-actard.
