Virgil Hunter for me is a underrated trainer among fans building a nice stable outside off Ward
I agree Hunter is another top level trainer who does not get enough credit imo..Its about time some of these trainers get some credit and love from the boxing world...
Virgil Hunter hates white people apparently. I don't think Khan should team up with a racist.
Anything too back that up?I wasnt suggesting Khan go with him just think Hunter is underrated among fans
Diaz even had to say it now..No credit for that guy,who brought Tim up from nothing and has work very hard to make him into the fighter he is today...Like I said before, this is not a thread about who you thought won or lost..Joel handle himself well in the big lights..He kept his fighter focus and on track,motivated..Everything a trainer is suppose to do,feel how you want about the fight..But Diaz deserves a lil credit in my book for his overall job done on the night of the fight...
Then the plan was wrong. He should've boxed him from the outset. Hard to credit the trainer in those circumstances.
The trainer I will credit is Freddie Roach. He knew Pacquiao didn't want to be chasing Bradley so he had Pac sit behind the guard and invite Bradley onto him. Eventually towards the end of rounds Bradley would get comfortable in front of Pac, and Pacquiao would strike. By the time Bradley realised he was having more success making Pacquiao the hunter, it was too late as the fight was already won. Roach did a great job, excellent tactics.
I will give Roach his credit,he said Bradley will just come forward and be easy picking..He showed that he did not believe this,he did not have Pac getting reckless like he usually is..But like I told you exchanging with Pac is the only way to beat him..Countering him like JMM is gonna lose you the fight every time, because you not first..It's what the judges see,you responding to everything..First 3 rds Bradley fought from the outside pushed Pac backwards with the jab and won some exchanges..TBH Bradley seemed to be in control the 1st 3 rds..That 4th rd he hurt his ankle and fought different..No more jab or movement,a lot of toe to toe that he was not winning..Joel then motivated him pushed him to go on and try to refocus him on what he had to do in the ring..Some corners would have panic under the bright lights,Joel did'int..I mean Roach has been here many times and believe me has gotten a bunch of credit..But Diaz did a good job and his game plan weather you agree with the decision or not got Bradley a W over Pacmonster...IMO 9 to 12 Bradley rds,he went back to the game plan of rds 1-3..Which was movement a steady jab,and being aggressive with Pac...
Pro judges also thought Trinidad beat Oscar, Rios beat Abril, Diaz beat Malignaggi, Williams beat Lara and I can go on and on. Manny was toying with Bradley it was the only reason it was close, Manny took his foot off the gas because he knew he had this clown beat in the first 3 rounds.
Well then that was Manny's mistake then..Oh another thing the pro judges are right..Just look at all those fighters mention records..FYI,I gave Bradley rds 1-3..So maybe he should have kept his foot on the gas then huh...
Professional judges disagree with you..Happy fathers day to you to bro...

Bradley's game plan was to box from the outside, but he had to take risk bro..JMM boxed from the outside, but he never really lead and let's be honest it cost JMM the chance at beating Pac..The last two people to beat Pac showed him no respect and was very aggressive...
Did Bradley fight going backwards the 2end half of the fight??Yes..But that seemed like the plan from the door before he hurt his feet and was not mobile as he could have been..But the plan was alway going to be to trade with Pac bro,Bradley even said that before the fight..
Let's be real he did a good job of trading with Pac as well..Despite the HBO crews thoughts,Bradley made the judges see a certain fight by trading with Pac..Oh and before we believe HBO that Bradley's punches were nothing to Pac..I did not see Pac wanting to take as much risk going down the stretch of that fight..That was because of the body work that was put in..
Everything I just spoke on was part of Diaz plan, and weather you like it or not help Bradley to take 2 out of 3 judges scorecards..It should count for something is all,Diaz should get some kudo's..This was not a badly fought fight..Weather you did not agree with the decision or not, this fight was exciting and pushed Pac..But like I sad damn shame Diaz will not get any credit or respect in this regard...

Rome, do you not think it would have been a better for Bradley to box from the outside from the beginning instead of trying to trade with Pacquiao?
If so, do you not think it was a failing on his trainer's part for Bradley to have to find this out for himself?
He seems a sound bloke but as far as I'm concerned Diaz got it wrong.

.But to not give Diaz any credit whatsoever, that's just not right bro..His fighter gave one of the best fighters in the sport a rough time and he had something to do with it..

If that was the gameplan it worked to perfection.
ha, I guess so.
Pacquiao certainly didn't dominate and Bradley was competitive in alot of rounds because Pac was being passive. He let Bradley do what he wanted in the final rounds as well.
Still though, I respect your opinion but cannot see how anyone can have Bradley the winner.
Bradley's a favourite fighter of mine and i liked his effort in the ring. He showed alot of toughness by taking big shots and continuing to fight with a bad ankle as well.
I like Joel and i think he deserves credit for what he has done for Bradley in his career. I can see why not many are giving him credit though and it's mainly because alot of fans thought his fighter lost. It's hard to give credit to a trainer when his fighter lost in most people's eyes.
Fair enough, but I have to say Bradley was up against it last sat..You say Pac was passive, why do you believe this happen??That's not in Pac's nature to be passive..Unless he was confuse on some level..I hear Bradley has no power, yet I did not see Pac rushing in on Bradley either..He was able to rush in on Cotto Mosley(who just ran)JMM(although he has become more cautions in this regard)even big azz Marga's..Yet he could not do that to Bradley..I can respect that you thought Pac won, hell I thought it was an excellent fight..
But Joel deserves some credit,he kept Bradley focus..After he hurt his foot he kept him motivated and had a knowledge of what Pac was trying to do(steal the rd by flurrying at the end of it)and gave Bradley the proper instructions..This was not a thread about if Bradley won or lost tbh..I know most view on the subject as I feel like they know mine..But Diaz did a very good job, guess he like his fighter will have to wait it out to get some credit..
Yeah, and yet your description of the fight has 99% of the world disagreeing with you and thinking you're a troll. GTFO Biyatch.
Only posters who believe me to be a troll are butthurt ******s who can't deal with someone else that has an opinion that differs from their own..:peeright:on ya post hoe..
What makes this even more hilarious is that it's only fitting that you have Bradley and Rios as your sigs. You think Abril clearly lost that fight too? Professional judges scored that one too, Rios won, how do you explain that? Explain that and I'll explain how Bradley won.
To be honest I bought the hype, I thought I was going to see a determined hungry fighter in Bradley, the one yelling at the camera running up the hill, telling Pacquiao to bring it. Then reality set in, Bradley couldn't even phase Pacquiao , Bradley looked discouraged beyond belief. His corner , a master mind in your opinion, sounded like a high school coach telling his team "it'll be alright we'll get em next time, the important thing is that it happened." I came out of the delusion midway through the fight and realized it was a one sided affair aside from the slow start by Pacquiao. Thing is I don't think you ever did. You're still stuck in the 24/7 Bradley mindset.
I did not think Rios won his last fight..But one don't have nothing to do with the other...
You know I respect ya big bro,but I saw the fight for Bradley..But tbh I can see an argument for Pac winning as well..But this was no 10-2 or 9-3 fight like some are trying to say..That is something I don't see..It's also why I believe Diaz deserves some credit..Nacho did not beat Roach yet,but he is viewed as a great trainer..Don't get me wrong Nacho is a great trainer..But to not give Diaz any credit whatsoever, that's just not right bro..His fighter gave one of the best fighters in the sport a rough time and he had something to do with it..

Bradley definitely lost. It was 9-3 for Pacquiao quite easily in my eyes and I wanted to give rounds to Bradley. I am of the opinion that Bradley actually needs a new trainer. He has great skills, can move his head and upper body (saw him slip some awesome combinations) and good feet but he has absolutely no authority behind his punches. None. A good trainer would have tried to correct that by now. Look at the way he threw his punches, they lacked any power, he merely pawed at Pacquiao to no effect. What was worse, he didn't even turn his fists completely over, whether trying to fight on the inside or on the outside, and that's amateurish. Bradley swarms on the inside, throwing powerless, winging, shots to the body that have no power because he is not driving with his body weight behind them, and turning his fists over. Terrible technique. Had he been able to throw with more power, the fight may have gone differently for him. On top of all of that, he continually came in with his head down. Bradley, for his own sake, needs a master trainer who will help rid him of these awful mistakes.
He's still stuck in the mindset of the pre-fight buildup hype Bradley enjoyed. Everyone thinking this guy was about to "shock the world". He's just too stubborn to admit he was wrong, and Bradley isn't elite.
Exactly. Even Bradley and Diaz thought Bradley would all the sudden carry power at 147. Get outta here! If people think Bradley won , they're delusional. But you see glimpses of how he knows he's wrong by admitting " I can see how Pacquiao won." Okay if you see it then why keep this charade up? Troll straight up.
