Chavez will only rehydrate 12-14 pounds - Martinez fight will take place in Vegas

According to Fernando Beltran (Chavez' Mexican promoter) in a Nación ESPN interview, he's not going to rehydrate over 175-174 pounds. They expect him to only rehydrate between 12 and 14 pounds. He also mentioned that they plan to have Martinez vs Chavez not only in September 15, but also in Las Vegas in the Thomas & Mack Center. He said the people will know how to choose and he's going to leave it to the people to choose between Canelo/Ortiz and Chavez/Martinez. :nonono:

You better believe that Martinez is going to flee the country. He's not as stupid as he looks; he knows Chavez would Duddy and Rubio him for all that nonsense he's been talking. Martinez isn't man enough to get in the ring with Chavez.

179 would be surprising. He was only 170 against Vera and that was in a 163 catchweight. Ya that would be suprising maybe this was too counteract what they thought Chavez would usually weigh
