Pacquiao chose to finish watching the NBA game, then delayed the fight further by needing to warm up (threadmill to loosen his calf muscles), which he should have done instead of watching the basketball game. All that time, the judges were waiting - old people who are probably irritable because of their advanced age, pissed for having to wait a long time and for needing to stay up later than usual that night.
In the end, you have irritable judges who probably can't focus, and who probably want to get back at the person who made them wait and stay up longer than they needed to. The decision was a joke, but I don't think there's a conspiracy here. Just old people acting like old people. :nonono:
Holding up the fight to watch a game and get his legs rubbed is pretty wack though, I can see the Nevada Commission not appreciating that much

that's phukkn hilarious, green K
lol so the logic here is the Judges are old and wanted to get to bed so to get back at Pacquiao for keeping them up they gave him an L
Do you think since Bob Arum is old he might have told them to do it since he was tired too?
So basically if judges don't like a fighter's attitude, then just give him an L off jump.
Dope sport!!!
BTW, wasn't it mentioned that the fight wasn't happening until the game was over prior to the fight? The game ended right when the Arce fight was ending.

as easy as it would be to just blame arum, and I've pondered it, this theory can easily be true. Now, of course we don't hope it is, cause frankly when a judge is making the kind of money (I assume it's pretty good money to sit and watch a quality prizefight) they are, they, ideally, wouldn't allow their personal feelings to jeopardize the integrity of their work. But this isn't a perfect world and it's very much possible.
