Nah man it's just styles. See the thing is cotto fights better when he is the aggressor like in the mayweather fight, he fights better when he gets to fight at a slow pace. In the margarito rematch he was winning but he was still taking damage and you could see how uncomfortable he is fighting that way rather than when it is a slow technical fight. I'm gonna have to Roger Mayweather your ass say you don't know sh*t about boxing sorry. Manny FIGHTS better than Cotto, period but Cotto can box far better than Manny it's not even close. Cotto didn't do better against Floyd just because of styles, he had more power, better corner and his confidence back. It's obvious you've never been a fighter but the mental aspect is just as important as physical if not more. It's not like Manny only had a speed advantage going for him in that fight. 1. Mentally (Cotto was shot at the time.) 2. Corner (He was training himself, a 30 year old nutritionalist doesn't know sh*t about boxing, fact.) Watch once he got Steward even his technique came back all that was GONE in the Manny fight off balance, no pop on his jab, bending down while throwing punches over his head watch the 2nd knockdown against Manny. 3. Weight (You can say Cotto wasn't drained at 145 but you can't say Cotto is actually BETTER at 145 than he is at 150 plus.) His biggest advantage over Pac is his size and they took that from him. I mean seriously, Cotto is a FAR better fighter now than the first time he fought Manny. You can say it's styles but while Cotto may not be able to counter as well as Marquez he has WAY more pop especially now that his technique, psyche and his game plan will be. People just think oh he got pummeled, its like basketball. If a teams Coach and best player aren't in the game they are not going to perform at max level, same thing here. He had no corner and the weight/technique took whatever power/size advantage away from him. At 150 Cotto will beat Manny, if that didn't hold at least SOME truth why would Manny ASK for a Cotto fight, but then only do say by draining him 7 pounds this time?

Notice that Pac/Mayweather isn't on the poll? It took a while, but the peasants are avoiding Mayweather for Pacquiao now. Unbelievable. I guess they are trying to keep what little bit of the legend alive by any means necessary. A better poll would be "Who would be willing to pay for another Pacquiao PPV again against anybody?" The fights never going to happen, it's a shame it was so close in 2009 but things fell apart. After Manny's "loss" it's a wrap.
