Who looked better against their respective opponent, Mayweather or Pacquiao?
I had the Mayweather vs Cotto card 116-112 to Mayweather and Pacquiao vs Braldey 117-111 to Pacquiao.
So Pacquiao won more convincingly for me.
Looking at the punch stats as well we find was not only better attacking landing 34% of his punches to Mayweather's 26%, he was also better defensively limiting Bradley to just 19% of his punches thrown to Cottos 21% on Mayweather.
Pacquiao had a +15 compubox edge of Bradley
Compared to
Mayweather's 5% edge over Cotto.
Pacquiao landed 94 punches more than Bradley
While,
Mayweather landed 74 punches more on Cotto.
Seem clear to me that Pacquiao did better than Mayweather against Bradley and Cotto respectively.
Poll Coming!!!
So you felt those fights were closer than Pacquiao vs Bradley?
Yeah, I could find 4 rounds for Cotto, he started slowly chucked the first 4 rounds away and faded in the championship rounds.
A quicker start for Cotto and maybe just in the later round and he could overturn the first fight.
Could only find 3 rounds for Bradley one that he won clearly the other two I could have scored even or even given to Pacquiao.
Thought Pacquiao took the fight far too casually, he was in second gear for the fight but was stilling winning the round comfortably.
Bradley came back towards the end, but that was down to Pacquiao being far too much in cruise control.
In rematches, I expect Floyd vs Cotto to be even closer and Pacquiao to beat Bradley by an even wider margin, probably a stoppage.
Pacquiao vs Bradley II
In your opinion is it good for boxing, or bad for boxing?
not really interested in a rematch and I'm not too big on Marquez IV either
which is expected since Manny is more popular and is the Champion, I have no problem with that but those were very very close rounds I could honestly see a case for both fighters in those rounds.
I will rewatch the fight and rescore it when I get I chance and I could have missed something but I know for sure Manny didn't clearly win any of those rounds
Pacquiao vs Bradley II
In your opinion is it good for boxing, or bad for boxing?
I think the backlash is against Arum because people feel he perpetrated this fraud. IMO, if Manny left TR and Bradley fullfilled his TR contract, I think more people would buy the rematch as long as Bob wasn't connected.
Lets say Bob isn't connect......which would you rather see Mayweather vs Cotto II or Pacquiao vs Bradley II?
Why are you asking for peoples opinions and then arguing with them when they don't agree with you?
A lot of people aren't given me there score on the fights, they are talking about Bradley's broken legs and Duane Ford and Floyd fighting at 154lbs.
But it interesting to see peoples cards that actually get paid for their opinions on boxing.
I would prefer to see Cotto vs Mayweather rematch.
Would prefer to see Pacquiao fight Marquez in November.
So you felt those fights were closer than Pacquiao vs Bradley?
90 out of 92 Boxing writers, ex-boxers, current boxers, trainers and pundits disagree with you.

If you want to know the answer to this question.....start a poll asking which rematch would they rather see.....Mayweather vs Cotto II or Pacquiao vs Bradley II.
The answer to that question will let you know which fight people felt was closer.

This is a retarted thread. Pac got robbed and Floyd won convincingly.
Not an common opponent so it can't be compared. Floyd going up to JrWW and Bradley comming up to WW.
IMO both fighters won their respective fights with a comfortable margins
you could lie to yourselfs if it makes you feel better Pacquiao fans but Manny didn't dominate in any round or at any point in this fight this was a very close fight with many 50/50 rounds and you should know those rounds goes to the aggressor most of the time
Bets you missed the rounds when Tim was scrambling around trying to get away from Pacquiao's punches and where he was just hanging on to Pacquiao to buy time because he had not got his legs backs.
Floyd hurt Cotto one time in there fight, Pacquiao hurt Bradley numerous times.
Do you plan on paying for the rematch?
Both Manny and Tim are 2 of the best fighters 147 and below, had a close fight, so wouldn't you want to see it again?

10th, 12th round is clear round for Bradley too stop being biased if you want to be taken seriously. its not like Pacquiao won many clear rounds either 1st,2nd,5th,7th,11th could convincingly go to Bradley too

Read my post it should be evident that I am saying Floyd won more convincingly.....
Before this fight Bradley was looked at as a cherry pick.. I mean everyone knows he has no power to speak of whatsoever....
If an opponent has no power, then there is no respect, so they should be put away by an offensive machine (IE But we didnt see that...
Why didnt Pacquiao put BRADLEY AWAY???
Immediately after the fight we see Bradley in a wheel chair....
http://cdn1.sbnation.com/entry_photo_images/4310608/Bradley-wheelchair-630_large.jpg
Here I see a Black Professor Charles Xavier.
The greatest offensive fighter on the planet couldnt put charles xavier away...
By default when a man cant put away a 1 legged fighter whom has no power, whom he rocks multiple times....
By default that makes your thread null and void imo....
PACQUIAO NO LONGER HAS A BELT. If the fight went to pacquiao I wouldnt complain, but as we see looking at the fight again, It was closer than you think, because the same experts you are quoting, I can find just as many experts saying Bradley took rounds 9-12 respectively. which makes your 1-2 rounds for bradley a joke.
Marquez will beat him and he will fade away...... Marquez beat him last time and the same people you are quoting saying pac won convincingly also state Marquez beat him..... So you wanna disregard that and only use the new data???
You sir are a biased as scientist.
Wrong again, Bradley was seen as the toughest fight for Pacquiao for a long time, many people were tipping Bradley to win and this was reflected in the odds with Bradley which was 3/1. Cotto on the other hand was 4/1 against Floyd. e.i. less of a chance.
And all your points are meaningless when it comes to this thread.
The only thing I want to know it this thread, is who won by a bigger margin on your scorecard, Mayweather or Pacquiao?
Good post, though I gave Bradley and Cotto more rounds, I only though Bradley won one round clearly and Cotto won two rounds clearly.
