Their opinions are worthless.
All this outrage and calls for the ruling to be overturned. It just shows that casual fans don't know or care about the sport, they only care about the name. Most boxing insiders had Manny losing to JMM, in terms of rounds it may have been a close fight, but JMM still clearly won to most observers. Where was the outrage then? I didn't see any petitions or any calls to overturn that ruling. Why? Because the casual fan doesn't give a **** about JMM. ESPN, Sportscenter, SI etc, have shape the opinion of the public that Manny is unbeatable and that is the only reason this is happening. Forget the horrible decision, this reaction is about Manny Pacquiao and has zero to do with the sport.
This whole Bradley/Paquiao fight is just a way to avoid the Marquez fight. They wanna stall the fight as long as possible to make sure Marquez will have nothing left. A rematch with Bradley is a good way to do that. Pacquiao has way more unfinished business with Marquez then with Bradley. Pac needs to be very careful who he fights, he's got to stay away from Ortiz, Canelo or Marquez. Cotto rematch would be a great fight but pAC wount fight Cotto unless Cotto comes in dehydrated.
Agreed. All these people who watch boxing 2 times per year are coming out of nowhere and acting like their experts in scoring fights and how boxing is dead.
yeah. Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield both said it was the worst decision they've seen in their lives. There's a couple of "casual" fans. You can take this post and stick it up your ass.
I can tell like 3/4 of the people that posted in this thread didn't read the first post before they replied. Seriously, reading these boards the last few days has been so funny
Why would you even say you're smarter than a casual fan? What is so complicated about boxing?
What I don't get is what makes this TS think that he knows better than the rest? A lot people in the boxing community scored the JMM3 to Pac. Are they casual fans? NO. There's a list that shows it's a 50/50 fight. Meaning it could have gone either way. The judges made the determination. They could have favored Pac and the controversy would have been the same.
It's a draw. Nobody won that fight. Saying one won it decisively is moronic.
The funniest idiots are the ones who say that hbo brainwashed everyone who saw Manny winning, what about the press who scored the fight at RINGSIDE and which by the way almost unanimously gave Pac the nod? I guess hbo somehow found a way to manipulate them too huh? Maybe they hired Professor X for the job lol

I am not a casual fan Ive loved this sport since I was 12 and Im not even a pac fan, never have been, but this fight pacquiao won without any doubts. it wasnt close, pac won all but 2 rounds on my cards. he controlled the fight and landed more shots, and stronger shots, and was never in any kind of danger or discomfort. pac won this fight, timmy got a gift decision he did not deserve for whatever conspiring forces decided to make it that way.
the decision wont and shouldnt be overturned, because its not fair to to other robberies. tim has the belt, but nevertheless, pacquiao won this fight, and it shouldnt have been up for debate by the judges. pac did everything better and controlled the fight better. thats what wins boxing matches. timmy lost guys sorry, hate pac or not, he won that fight...
but this petition thing is a little overboard, tim has the belt and if pac wants it hes gonna have to fight him for it, plain and simple. this is boxing...:boxing:
i agree with this post. phuck the petition and respect the decision. right now, pac is winning friends and i love it. why spoil the fun?... haha...
You are a moron but most of us have known that for a while... you're an avid Floyd hater. You still butt hurt that Hatton got KO'd?
We don't support the corrupt decision! But we also don't support trying to get the decision overturned when there were other fights that the wrong person won and nobody said ****! Boxing is a sport... it's not all about 1 fighter and that includes Pac and Mayweather. Just because Pac got ****ed doesn't make it right to try to reverse the decision when it was okay for someone not as high profile as him to get ****ed! Read this time morons.
You get fvcked up because you made a wrong comparison. Marquez vs Pac 3 was close that can go either way but Bradley vs Pac? It was 10-2 for Pac and take note Pac is biggest star of the sport.

Manny carried the sport for the past 8 years while Floyd was in and out of vacation or in jail. The fact that people hate to see him wronged is the result of the good will he's built up and reputation he's built up all these years.
Deal with it! Now i do agree with the sentiment here but thats the way it is why complain about casual fans, its them that is keeping this sport alive in the first place.
Why do idiots in this site always make it sound as if you need a Harvard degree to understand boxing?
/
they're floyd fans. they blame everyone but their hero. these are the kind of fans mayweather attracts. they need casuals fans to show up in mayweather fights, then trash them and blame them when they don't need them.
The amount of stupid going through this thread is hilarious.
The boxing "experts" didn't put together this petition to overturn the decision.
Mayweather Sr., Marquez and Rafael didn't team up and say Hey lets get this decision overturned for the good of boxing! It was the millions of casual fans, that only watch boxing a couple times of years that are complaining about corruption and they are claiming they are trying to "save the sport" when really they are just butthurt that Pacquiao was on the wrong end of a bad decision. Where is the Marquez petition? The Lara petition? The Campillo petition? The Chisora petition? The Abril petition? They don't have enough casual fans so nobody cares. They weren't trying to save the sport then, and they aren't trying to save the sport now, they just want to save Pacquiao form a "L"
Oh gawd damn it, I GIVE UP!
This had nothing to do with me being smarter than anyone else. My point was that casual fans couldn't care less about the sport so their opinions are worthless.
you know who else s opinions are worthless? Yours....
This how you tell who is a real fan of boxing and who is just biased troll. So I guess boxing fighthers, athletes and the majority or the world are casuals. Marquez is now a casual boxing fan a I have seen several interviews saying PAC was robbed. Even Floyd sr but he is casual fan as well along with all the sports writers and such. Rofl you and the first four who posted have made such gret points.........showing you care less about the sport and know jack ****.
Let me try this one more time, nobody is saying that people who think Pac won are casual fans, that's irrelevant. Nobody, at least not me, is saying it wasn't a horrible decision(see my first post). What I'm saying is that the reason for petitions and overturning rulings is because of the CASUAL FAN! The reason any of this is happening is because the casual fan knows Manny Pacquiao. They care about Manny and Manny only, not about the sport! Robberies happen countless times and I have never seen any type of reaction close to this.
Oh gawd damn it, I GIVE UP!
This had nothing to do with me being smarter than anyone else. My point was that casual fans couldn't care less about the sport so their opinions are worthless.
as we all keep pointing on you, NOT ONLY CASUAL FANS think about the fight outcome is outrageous, but also BOXING EXPERTS!
Their opinions are worthless.

did marquez out punch & out land pacquiao like pacquiao did marquez & bradley?
no.
At least pac can look at the statistics & have a credible call for a robbery in a fight that wasnt close.
Marquez Pac were all incredibly close with pacquiao out punching & outlanding marquez in the last fight.
stfu now with the marquez.
Oh please what do you think you're some king of extraordinary fan because you post on nsb? give me a break...
Oh gawd damn it, I GIVE UP!

dont worry, the probability that those first 4 guys (including TS) is just one person hiding on his ALTs! lol

They're obviously not the casual fans that are being referred to,
obviously, not only casual fans see that this is total robbery. you acting like only casual fans see it that way... but ALSO BOXING INSIDERS/EXPERTS...
GET IT? I guess not! lol
