By drinking the Pac kool-aid and blindly supporting the Arum-Pac circus, some boxing fans and hardcore Pacquiao fans could also be blamed. They took the filipino crowd and ppv buyers by fools because they were happily paying for all that bs. They thought they could easily get away with what happened last saturday, granted they thought it was going to be a little closer.
No disrespect intended, filipino crowd and ppv buyers are not fools, but I think we all could use a little more boxing culture.
when a fighter lands more and much harder punches he wins the fight! The judges forgot to bring their seeing eye dog with then! There is no "Pac kool-aid" and any other fights has no barring on the fact that Bradley took a beating. If he had any respect for himself or the sport of boxing, he would vacate the title and try to win it for real in a rematch!
Bro, honestly I laugh at anyone that thinks hbo boxing is better than showtime. it's no comparo. Showtime has now added undercard fights on show extreme. You get like 6 fights a pop bro, 6!!
Better, less bias commentating. More even matched fights. The up n comers on friday. Hbo star fighters beating the crap out over matched opponents. Absolutely no comparison.
I've been missing out. The HBO commentators have gotten so bad over the last few years I almost can't take it. They were not like that back in the day. Showtime just got a new customer. Thanks for the info.
This is exactly what I've started to realize. I've been very loyal to HBO & I have ESPN & other channels to watch fights, just not Showtime. I thought HBO was the best for years. The Showtime fights I just go to my cousins house for, but it looks like Showtime is my next move. I don't think it was the worst robbery in boxing history as the story on Yahoo insists it is, but a robbery no doubt.

If you really want good boxing stateside, watch espn & showtime. If you like to be bumfvcked dry, tune into an hbo ppv. I have hbo & showtime, espn & fox sport net. I watch those fights on there like it's the bible. I stream ppv's because frankly, they're not worth the money period. Floyd & Pacman usually fight for the most money least amount of risk. The only ppv I'll pay for is Martinez Floyd.

I understand that but sometimes the robbery is so blatant you have to be honorable and decline the "win"
Sometimes, sometimes not... the challenge he made to me was not friendly.
*******s are just mad as hell right now its not like Manny destroyed Bradley hell Bradley outworked him and was the one taking the fight to Manny.
Marquez beat Manny more convincingly then Manny did Bradley you get some bogus decision you should expect to lose some
You have your opinion but tbh it's a disgrace that you bet someone here and collected on a farcical win. That says a lot about your character.
I had to, bets must stick to official results, for good or for bad.

this is what happens when only one fighter like pacquiao dominates the sport. it's becoming monotonous. people get bored, judges get bored and treat it like it's american idol. this sport needs a lot of new faces. unfortunately, the pacmans of the world are hard to come by.
speaking of american idol, this sport needs some kind of a reality show like a boxing competition every week or so or something.

;12233446']This dude's blaming filipinos
Yes, in part I do. It´s ok to pack the arenas of his fighter, that is legitimate support. Insane mass gambling is not imo.
I don't know what to think, I'm a huge Bradley fan but it should have been a Pac win. That being said, this isn't the first robbery ever and it's been business as usual over the years but it seems to me that Arum thinks he can turn boxing into WWE and make money like those dudes do.
It's not a fair sport anymore and I am happy for Tim and his career but for boxing as a whole, this is not a good look.
boxing culture?
you mean corruption?
speaking of corruption,
the recent vada testing exposes involving peterson and berto convinced me that there is corruption in boxing. why else do these people demand test and turned out to be the ones doping? it's clear to me that something went awfully wrong that they never expected.
The title to this thread is all I needed to read & it's because it's true. And as long as we keep buying, watching & supporting (unfortunately) some of these fighters it's not going to change. I'm guilty of this as well as others. I've told myself a million damn times that I was done buying ppv PERIOD. Did it happen, nope & look at this damn mess of a sport now.

No, better boxing culture from fans and the filipino crowd could have stopped the snowball a long time ago and this would have never happened.
