Whatever, Steven a smith is a decent sports analyst but calling a boycott is a joke. Casual fans make the fights a lot of revenue.
Boxing is the toughest sport and you only start making $$ when you get up in the rankings while getting your head beat in.
after the May/Cotto fight
i was a bit disgusted, but after the Pac/Bradley fight, i actually want to throw up....no more ppv's for any fighter until **** changes for the better in the sport i grew up in and love!
People will still buy Mayweather and Pacquiao PPV's.
This... a boycott would result, in what % loss? Probably a drop in the bucket. I'm all for thinking of ideas to make positive changes, but I don't think a boycott is effective. (Altho it might make individual fans feel like they are taking some action, however small it may be, and that might feel good.)
If there's no way of conecting him with it, how is it that YOU know....?? The illogical conspiracy-meshed garbage printed on this site is fantastic in the amount, as well as in the mostly (boxing) illiterate posts. If a web site were to be held resopnsible for it's content, BoxingScene would be sued right out of it's pants about 10 million times over. i don't know when, if ever they'll realise that quality posters are what they need to be back on the top of all boxing sites. And they wouldn't accept loonies and crazies like they do now.
I guess you wont want to be here with a bunch of **** posters...
Dont let the door hit ya!
Can somebody translate what this person is saying? It seems like he's trying to level the field on a bunch of people but I can't tell. It's too poorly constructed.
Edgargle has a sole agenda. So you guys continue to ignore this clown. An arum apologist is basically wat he is.

Even though fans have been shafted with the Mayweather vs Ortiz, Hopkins vs Dawson I and now Pacquiao vs Bradley PPV fiasco's.....for the most part these events are what make the sport.
As a Pacquiao fan........there shouldn't be any boycotts of PPV events.
Now I can see people boycotting Pacquiao vs Bradley II....but as far as PPV's as a whole.....absolutely not.
They are the super bowls of boxing.
But it still was quite a good fight, even if Pacquiao walked through it. Bradley put up a good show with the #1 P4P fighter. He as always there.
The guy is stupid. The people need to boycott only the rematch! Not all PPVs.
I, for sure aint boycotting Canelo's OR Floyd's next PPV.
Boycott the rematch!!!!
No-Boycott Las Vegas boxing and the NSAC.
We're as close to knowing who is behind this as we ever have been in the case of any boxing scandal. CUI BONO? Bob Arum. WHO HAS A HISTORY OF SUSPECTED ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE SPORT? Bob Arum.
Problem is the media is a too afraid of Bob. As they should be. He's a scary guy, and he wouldn't have attempted to carry something like this off without all exits sealed, and no Earthly way of connecting him to it.

Those guys were speaking nothing but the truth. Best thing to do is just move on. No need for a rematch. Either Pacman vs Floyd or Pacquiao needs to retire. Still disgusted with that call. Psh Tim Bradley who?
it is always the Casual Fans Calling For Boycotts!
I like Stephen A. but STFU Stephen A.! You Guys at ESPN don't even talk boxing unless it includes Pacquiao or Mayweather and CONTROVERSY!
Yes, and they're the guys who never even pay anickel. they know all the computer tricks to get free streams. It's always those who pay the least who make the most noise.
Stephen a nor his butt buddy skip bayless know a thing about boxing. Skip just heard of pacquiao the clottey fight and jumped on his nuts. Stephen a didnt even watch bradley/pacquiao live. I doubt he watched it all. Just repeating what others say.
Online streaming is the way to go. I didn't buy Pacquiao vs Bradley to begin with and streamed it online at the venue i was DJing at and hooked it to big screen tv they have (LOL)
High speed internet + High speed processor (laptop or desktop) = Not putting $$ in promoter's pockets who give us the bullsh*t. I'm even reluctant on buying Mayweather vs Pacquiao if by chance that ever happens (which I really doubt at this point)

I'm not doubtful at all, you'll just do the same for that fight as you did for this one, which you have probably done ever since you first found out how to do it.
Maybe they should boycott Las Vegas.
At least in New Jersey their athletic commission suspended the three judges in the Williams Lara fight.
Exactly. The REAL culprit is the NSAC which not only licensed the judges, but appointed them for the fight. And they are resisting examining the matter of judge incompetence.
If WBO is smart, they will make the fight an NC and, if it seems that people want to see it, order a rematch. This would give a needed enhancement to their reputation.
I'm boycotting TR ppv's no question. I feel bad for Tim too because I want to see him fight but BOb is not getting a single ****ing cent from me until.
Did he ever...????
I won't be boycotting any Floyd fight that is for certain. At this point in his career he might lose to anyone and I wanna see it.
Boycott should involve the rematch only. Tim Bradley is NOT on Pacquiao's level. I'll actually be taking that advice. It sucks that the UFC can't fill my hunger for that big fight feel anymore. I liked what Stephen A Smith said though. Don't boycott the fights on HBO, showtime, Epix, etc just boycott PPV. That's the only way they'll get the message.
