Are you talking about 1 governing body? As in rule and regulations?
Or are you talking about 1 promoter(league)?
I think boxing is much to large to be made into a league or even have 1 governing body. We could have say each country as a governing body(instead of neveada commision, texes, etc etc) which I think would be better from a standerdized rules and policies stand point.
i see what you mean i was thinking more of continents but looking at the situation it would be hard but not impossible

Even with 1 governing body there would still be many promoters and they could not make matchups if the fighters did not agree to it. How good one governing body would be would depend on how good the governing body turned out to be. Are you talking about one governing body for the USA or the world?
one world gov body, how would you structure it?
High risk, little reward. NO money in a Pwill fight. Lower risk opponents bring more cash and an easy win. And because on his best day pwill could beat any of them..
I agree completely.
Lets get 1 thing clear. It is my opinion that he beats all 3, I didn't quote any of you trying to debate it. It's my belief. If you think otherwise, good for you, I really don't care.
Just answer this though, why didn't any of the 3 want it with him?? I know why & so do you.

Bush when pointed out the 1st quintana fight you kinda got a lil annoyed. Or the Cintron fight. You could argue his biggest fights are Margs, QUintana (1st defense), and the 2 Martinez fights. He has 2 good performances and 2 stinkers. Pwill deserves credit for WInky and Quintana 2, but then you have the Lara fight.
PWill is very incosistent. The other 3 are very consistent. He may have too much reach and size for all 3. But don't act like you know for sure which PWill comes into the ring. In contrats, you know what you will get from the other 3.
SO if PWill is at his best, then probably only floyd at his best beats him. But if PWIll isn't, all 3 beat him.

i didnt bump fcuk all. i replied to your williams hugging.
Say what you like, none of those fights were made because of the other 3, Punisher would fight them.
You get real, this tread was on the 3rd page, you bumped it to debate our contrasting opinions, lol.

Never said the fight couldn't go either way.
We don't know how much he'd land cause Floyd didn't want none.
Williams was the best welterweight the big three avoided.
Watch any of his fights at 147, now answer my 1st question.
A 6-2 welterweight equals nothing less than avoided.

he only has a "win" over martinez because one judge was blind and scored it 119-110 if i remember correctly. and martinez isnt the 3rd best fighter on the planet either.
No, actually you do. Pacman was a welterweight & the Punisher called him out. And I never said the Punisher Martinez 1 fight couldn't have gone either way. I did however name the 3rd best fighter on the planet that he did have a win over. Hate on his height & physical attributes to your hearts desire bro, I do not blame you.
why does nobody else agree with you?!
your starting to sound delusional now.
pacquiao wasnt even at welterweight when williams was.
which question was that?
and you go to a doctor, 6ft 2 and weighing 147. see what he says.
ok il pick a random welterweight fight he had and watch it later on.

the first martinez fight could have gone either way.
would williams land more than around 17% against mayweather?
williams was never elite.
and answer the question, which williams fight should i watch that any normal boxing fan would think he would beat mayweather, pacquiao and cotto?
and i forgot, 6 foot 2 and weighing 147lbs is called anorexic.

Well he did hold his own against Martinez the 1st time.
I love that Mayweather's record suggest line.
Makes me wanna say something like, how many prime elite 6-2 southpaws with iron chin's & his type of stamina's did he fight?? Ya know??
