No silly... I guess some people are automatically taking great technicians as counterpunchers and that's how those myths of Hopkins and Lopez being great counterpunchers is coming from.
Yeah Hopkins and Lopez aren't great counterpunchers but Marquez is. :pat:
Paul Williams and Sandy Saddler.
Joe Calzaghe and Harry Greb.
How the hell you know how Greb fought?
Aaron Pryor pacquiao and hammed all have that awkward style of punching and Foot work mixed with head movement And awkward angles
>__>...No way is Pac any similar to Hamed in movement Hamed was snake like..but I will agree with the perceived bad footing (although it's not similar, it's something of a common "trait" if you will). They could seem off balance but get a punch in with good power, too. Especially Hamed. His power was freaky. Pac also not as vicious as the two when it came time for the kill, Pryor being wild and beastly, Hamed just being a freak, and Pac more...traditional compared to those two lol. Then again...Pac fought better op than Hamed...sooo...can't blame him for not being as reckless.
Holyfield always reminded me of Hagler though. >__>...probably just cuz of the appearance... and that's just me.
Dwight Qawi and Joe Frazier
Mike Tyson andFloyd Patterson
Roger Mayweather and Junior Jones
James Toney and Jersey Joe Walcott and Archie Moore
Miguel Cotto and Henry Bruseles and Omar Henry
Floyd Mayweather and Adrien Broner
Vitali Klitschko and Jesse Willard
LOL Lopez was an even better counter puncher than Marquez. WTF are you smoking? Of course they were similar, Beristain modeled Marquez after Lopez.

Mayweather and Burley.
Caballero and Nunn
They had some similarities in technique, as they were schooled in similar way, but they did not "fight exactly or similar" to quote the title for you.
Marquez is classic counter puncher and Lopez was not, that already separates them enough not to be good examples in this thead. If there's one of mexican featherweights in last decade that was similar to Lopez it's Morales, not Marquez.

I think Marco Huck and Arthur Abraham fight the same. Wegeners guys usually have a peek aboo defence and then unload every now and again with inaccurate swings.
Neither are ATG's . . just saying
did you even read the title? and yes they did fight similiar
