avlik vs Forch, What do You guys think ?

funniest thread ever The intentional mispellings just crack me up. AND by the way, I think its a good fight. The truth is the WORSt Pavlik ever looked was against Lopez. I dont hold Bhop against him too much for a couple of reasons. (1) Bhop has made about 50 different elite fighters look like hopeless assholles and (2) I am not entirely certain he was healthy for the fight ( possibly his own fault for bad behavior but no indication of his ability to perform healthy). He was in the Martinez fight, still apparently has his power, has great trainer that seems to have him focused again, and Froch is not exactly Bhop in skill level as evidenced by the 11 round ass whipping put on him by Taylor (unfortunatly it was a 12 round fight).

I like Avlik in this fight. Froch comes to fight, has a good chin, as does Avlik. I say give Avlik about 2 fights at 168 and throw him in there. Wouldn't be a boring fight at all.

Forch is god bc he beat an overrated fighter - gtfo mang If Avlik came back and was 100% again, there's no way he loses to Forch..... Not what I said. But he's better than Pavlik. Don't think that Bute is his only win.

from a stylistic standpoint it would be a Fun Fight but Pavlik is on the downside of his career right now

Avlik is not Bute mang...... You're right, he's not. He's also not good enough to win this fight. Not even close. When's the last time he was even close to competitive with an elite fighter?

Froch is way too much for Pavlik, even at his best and Pavlik is clearly over the hill. Froch is going to brutalize him if this happens.

Pavliks career as a top level fighter is over, and if he wants to keep earning paydays fighting bums he needs to stay the hell away from the likes of Carl Froch, it would be criminal to make this fight and if Arumagedon agreed to it he should be charged with accessory to murder! Pavliks never been the same since B-Hop schooled him and on top of that the guy is a drunk, granted Kelly did a better job on Taylor than Froch but since then Carl has got better and Pavlik has got a hell of a lot worse.

Does this fight make sense ? After Froch deafeated Bute, Pavlik came out and said he wants to face Froch because he can beat him. Both guys are not necessarily great boxers but both are solid punchers and like to brawl. I think it could turn into a war. Pavlik could go Britain where Froch will get large crowds, or he can have a fight in Vegas to gain more of US crowd.no. pavlik does not deserve a shot. pavlik looks terrible lately, froch in nottingham would smash him up.

I credit Froch with a lot more ring smarts that Pavlik, both can take punishment and deliver with Pavlik a bit more one-dimensional and rigid. If they would both have a good training camp I think it would eventually turn into a long entertaining war in the ring, maybe heading for a decision.

avlik hasn't really done anything to warrant the fight, and he's not really well known enough in Britain to get the fight on name recognition alone. If he can notch a few goods wins up then sure, but right now, forget it. I'll admit though that stylistically an in form Palvik has the tools to make things difficult for Forch. But then I thought the same of Buet as well, and he was a hell of a lot more established at 168 than Pvalik is now. Frohc is a bigger man than Pvalki and won't be at a speed disadvantage, nor will he have to chase him around the ring since Vaplik more or less stands right in front of you. Cral has the ability to make things uncomfortable for any fighter, and Klely is a fighter who likes to get full extension on his shots; back him up or rough him up and he starts to fall apart. At this stage I do not consider this match to be at all competitive.

Avlik vs Forch? Carl would blast right through Kelly at this point. It would make for an exciting fight but one is a washed up middleweight and the other is a super middle who is performing at his best right now.

Technically Pavlik could pick him apart. If jab would land all night followed by a straight right. Froch is really sloopy at times but he deserves credit for the level of competiton he has faced lately unlike Pavlik. From the Ellie videos Pavlik looks rejuvenated, I have high hopes for a gun run with garcia in his corner.

Kelly Pavlik would be a very live underdog if you can call him that. Look both fighters are very solid-good at what they do. Neither really work angles and Kelly could probably match jabs with Froch, I'm sure he wouldn't fall apart either if he got hit clean like Bute did.
