Froch should fight Pavlik

If Pavlik could gain a few momentum building wins against ranked guys I could see it happening....Pavlik when he is on has good stamina and solid technique, also has shown heart and a very good chin. He'd have a shot at beating Froch......Pavlik's only losses came to superior boxers...one was just too fast and the other was just too crafty, Froch is neither and Pavlik would have the edge in skills and fundamentals

So Froch smokes Pavlik and what does he gain? A few Redneck fans who are just as drunk as Pavlik and a load of flack for beating the bum of the month. If Pavlik gets back close to where he once was, then it makes a lot of sense, but right now, isn't the time IMO

Pavlik would KO Froch. You mad? a prime Tommy Hearns would not K.O Froch, never mind a drunk whose career is in tatters, mabye if Pavlik can get his life together and string a few decent wins together i could see the fight happening and froch winning a very entertaining fight but at this moment in time its all about Froch vs Kessler II

No point really. Froch would smash that old lush into oblivion. Is Pavlik even still a draw?

He would get no credit for beating Pavlik right now. If Pavlik cant get back down to 160 and gets a couple solid wins at 168 then this fight would make sense for Froch. Froch should rematch Kessler.

It would be exciting and brutal a fight i would love to see but i cant see them putting Pavlik in with the likes of Froch at this point.

If Pavlik can string some solid wins together then yes. But for now? No. I think Froch should just settle on trying to get the Kessler rematch in Nottinham. It just makes too much sense to make that fight happen. Agree, Pavlik is not a top ten 168 right now, he would get destroyed at this point. He needs some good wins against good fighters first, he would be better to drop back down to 160, hopefully Garcia can get him back to championship form. Froch vs Kessler would be better right now.
