Cotto wins at 150, he would be way too big for JMM. There is way better fights that could be made. JMM is not big enough to fight at 147 or 150. He should stay at 140, he might not have enough power at that weight to win at the top of the division.

i wont give marquez a chance. hes my favorite against the likes of bradley, khan and judah, shot mosley, rios, gamboa, malignaggi.etc. but against cotto even at 147 he has no business there. People now dont really think well if they think marquez has a chance at 147 against cotto, people think he has a chance just because he did well against pacquiao at 144. Marquez is damn scared to fight anyone good at 147 and even at 140 he is reluctant. But against pac he aint scared even a little because he is manny's kryptonite. and he knows manny well and has his number.. cotto would KO this guy in less than 5.

@ 150 lbs. Cotto wins in the later rounds @ 147 lbs. Marquez will give him a run for his money but Cotto wins UD, don't get it twisted Marquez is my favorite Mexican warrior this sort of thing, without sounding like a wanker, makes me laugh! 3lbs is the difference between a guy getting knocked out and giving the opponent a run for his money! how does that work!

Problem is Cotto cant make 147 anymore. 149-150 is the most Cotto can come down. Maybe Marquez grows in the next few years and 150 doesn't look that big of a deal. how do you know that? i have not seen him say that before?

that would be a great fight, but im not a fan of catchweights. cotto vs marquez at 147 would be a fight that id look forward to. might sound stupid to some, but i still think 147 is cottos best weight class. the guy looks a bit podgy at 154.
