December 2012: Sergio Martinez at 154 lbs
May/June 2013: Amir Khan (given Khan beats Garcia and Ortiz/Alexander)
November 2013: Manny Pacquiao (given Pacquiao beats Bradley, Marquez, and a Rios/Jones)
May 2014: Saul Alvarez at 154 lbs (given Alvarez beats Williams, Cotto, Kirkland/Molina)
HIGHLY DOUBT THIS HAPPENS. But, if he finsihed it out like this and actually won all these fights, what would his legacy be???
I am surprised no 1 checked this dude before Dudley. Considering the Mosley, Hatton & Oscar Floyd fought may not have been peak, or close to it but Floyd beat a better version of all. Even Cotto is up for debate considering the fact that Pacman refuses to fight him to this very day without a weight stipulation that benefits him.
Hatton was in his prime though. He was unbeaten and #8
P4P.
Mosley was even older when Pac fought him. DLH was also older aswell and weightdrained when Pac fought him. Pac fought a weight drained Cotto. Floyd didn't.
Mosley / Floyd - mosley too old and past it
Mosley / Pac - shane is a tough fight pac is the man
DLH / Floyd - DLH was too old and past prime
DLH / Pac - Pac mutilated DLH and DLH was a straight beast
Floyd / Hatton - floyd is too good and cherrypicked hatton
Pac / Haton - Pac is amazing for taking this fight against this tough guy
Pac / Cotto (drained cotto) - Cotto is a monstrous fight and manny is a beast for taking it
Floyd / Cotto (154 comfortable cotto) - floyd is a bltch for fighting cotto past prime
This is mostly what you will see dealin with guys like Pac-Boy. dont waste your breath. his mission is twist and change facts to make pac look good and floyd look bad...
I haven't made a thread like this is quite some time, but I don't know. Maybe you're confusing me with someone else......
Just wanted to know an opinion man, but good to know that's how you roll. Have a good one....
opinions aside
what are the chances Floyd fights any of these guys: Martinez, Khan, Pacquaio
all are relatively high risk, so I don't see any happening .. as a fan, I'd obviously like to
but realistically Martinez @ Jr Middle or higher is way too risky .. Floyd can just use the fact that Sergio isn't a draw to not fight him
How many times do people have to bring up the fact that he called out Mosley YEARS ago and Mosley had no interest in fighting him. Then when Mosley was desperate for a payday and Floyd beat him, the haters say Floyd waited too long. No my friend it was Mosley who waited too long.
He didn't make Hatton "move up" considering that Hatton weighs 180 pounds between fights. So how is that moving up? That fight was more of a catch weight where Floyd was coming down from 154 to 147, so it was a weight both guys would be comfortable at.
And shut up with DLH being old. DLH was 34 which is younger than Floyd is now and he was much bigger than Floyd on fight night. I love how you bring up size when talking about the Hatton fight but fail to mention the size advantage DLH had.
And lastly, how can you say he waited for Cotto to get old when Cotto is nearly four years younger than Floyd? This post fails immensely!
no one twists shlt and changes facts around more than pac-boy in order to keep tryin to push pac is the greatest of all time onto everybody. this post of his is beyond hilarious...
whats even funnier is he waited sooo long to fight Mosley. Made Hatton move up to a weight Hatton himself knew he was nooo good at...being his only 147 fight he looked real bad in and most everyone knew he lost the fight with Luis Collazo....and he got a old version of DLH late in the game...same goes for Cotto.
Your Avi and Sig is all need to know about this comment! lol

The funny thing is Im on this site since 2005 and in 2007 people were not even talking about Martinez, Pacquiao,Khan or Alvarez. In 2007 there were threads like :
What if Floyd beat Hatton, Mosley, Cotto and DLH ? And people were saying there's no way he would do that.
So to answer your question : what would his legacy be???
His legacy would be nothing, people will just line up 4 differents guys that will be popular 2016 and people will say what if Floyd beat these guys
Yeah, same here. I been here since 07 with a different account and this is true. The fact to the matter is, Floyd will never get his just due. The guy is a master at his craft but because of his ignorant behavior in front of cameras, people will never talk good about him. These days people are so hypocritical and it ain't even funny.
Cotto and DLH he gave them all of the advantages as well. The weight they wanted, the gloves they wanted. Cotto he fought the fight Cotto wanted, giving him every opportunity to win and he still came out on top.
What do both of those guys have in common with Poochiao? weight games.

Perfect answer!!!!

damn that looks really really awful for manny then, cause if DLH was way old when mayweather fought him, manny should be embarrassed for fighting him even after that. and you're proud of manny for beating up an old floyd leftover?! (not even considering hatton and mosley along in that list) tisk tisk shame on you pac boy! shame. on. you...
LOL at all these people saying he'd make their top 20. If he isn't already in your top 10, your top 10 is that of someone completely new to boxing. If he does that, he's top 3. No question.
For every boxer you say Floyd ducked, i can name one Pac ducked.
For every Boxer you say Floyd should have fought at a different time, i can say the same with Pac.
One example, instead of fighting an obviously washed up and trigger shy Mosley, Berto was available as an option, according to Arum he wasnt a big enough draw.
Yet Pac already fought Clottey and is now fighting Bradley. So much for the no draw excuse
How can any Pac fan have the nerve to talk about the timing of when Floyd fought the boxers he beat.
When Pac has even better timing and adds CW's to the list.
Are you serious ??
