Dirrell does not have the heart to beat Ward..I really don't question Dirrell's skills,it's really his mental toughness and his heart..Both to me seem very weak...
Ignoring the end of the fight, Dirrell showed heart in dominating AA, because he showed at times that he would mix it up with AA.
I gave him a pass on the Froch running because he was probably overawed by the occasion and Froch's rep, away from home, first major fight you gotta give the kid a pass as he showed up for the AA fight ready to go.
Kessler doesn't get much criticism for his injury where he claimed he couldn't see properly and was seeing stars and spots or whatever yet felt perfectly fine to drive around.
Dirrell is a very talented fighter, I think he is the one fighter that could defeat Ward in that 168 Division, I even like his chances far better then I do Bute chances against Ward
Dirrell need to get more active though and work his way back into the mix in that Division

I just watched the fight Direll won on harder effective punches and froch just never did anything real serious. But he held so much and ran so often that those lil shots froch landed on the inside made them close rounds do I can see how'd you give it to him after all no one likes a complainer
andre dirrel sucks ass..he is the zab judah of the smw...he's a mental midget...in boxing , when your mental game is suspect , no matter how talented you are , you suck coz boxing is mostly MENTAL...
I'm still a fan, but he brought most of this on himself. You see how unforgiving people in this thread are about multiple things. Even if you don't hold him accountable for one thing there are other questionable actions that you can hold him to.
He seems to get a lot of hate around here.
Dude a true talent.
Dirrell needs to retire, he is a waste. Fakes injuries, won't fight his best pal, his career is over.
Not even the fact that he was driving to the press conference to announce he withdrawal?
If that's the case maybe he was as careful as need be not to get punched in the eye while driving?
Sauerland probably wanted to control more titles. They wanted Kessler to pull out, vacate his belt so AA could fight for it and then go after Bute's belt. What's the point of staying in the tourney only to lose to Ward again in the final?

May be true, may not be true.
The chances of him bailing on the tourney faking an injury compared to Dirrell is not even comparable. And hence the "hate" towards Dirrell and not Kessler.
From the info I've seen out there not much leads me to believe he was faking it.

What would the point be of withdrawing from super6 when you already fought the toughest fighters in it?

Because even though he can outbox people he chooses to slide around the floor like a jizz-mop looking at the ref.
That's how he lost to Froch. And even winning against Abraham saw him KTFO.
Extremely talented fighter who gets overlooked and hated on by a lot of fans.
I'm a big fan and have faith but I wanna see him get more active and start getting big fights again. Would like to see him take on the Froch vs Bute winner. Either way definitely wanna see him in there with Froch again he won the first time but I think now he would win more comfortably. Thing is though I like Froch and wouldn't want to see him go on a losing streak like that.
Dirrell/Ward/Bute/Dawson (if he gets in the mix or they move up) can have some good matchups if Bute beats Froch.
Do you believe Kessler's injury was real?
From the info I've seen out there not much leads me to believe he was faking it. And it seemed very plausible from the kind of damage he had taken in previous fights.

If Kessler had been put on shame and contradicted himself on camera as the Dirrells did i would have questioned the legitimacy of his withdrawal/injury too.
