Whilst Cotto lost, you can't always judge a fight on how a fighters face looks. Some guys redden, bruise, welt and swell after getting hit only a handful of times.

This is why floyd shouldve knocked him out in the 12th. Delusional guy actually thinks he won?

Floyd was adapting all night. Looping rights. Lead uppercuts. He probably coulda pressed the action in the 12th but knew he had the UD and just coasted after hurting Cotto.

mayweather did a number on him. i told a cotto fan floyd did a number on him, he started laughin. i hope he seen cotto's face now, mayweather merked. it is unbelievable how many morons on this site judge a fight based on how their faces looked after the fight. actually i can believe it, the vast majority of people are not intelligent. if you follow cotto, you will know his face marks very easily. look at his face after the margarito 2 fight, he hardly got tagged in the face but was still marked up pretty good. some fighters (including mayweather) don't mark up as easily. also mayweather is black and bruising and redness is much harder to see on dark skin. that is a fact. regardless of anything i just said, you CANT judge a fight based on how someones face looked after the fight, it is basically irrelevant. i thought mayweather won the fight 115-113. three of my boys were watching the fight with me, two of them (didn't know cotto before this fight, except for watching his fight with pacquiao) felt cotto won the fight, and the third thought it should have been a draw. often i am biased when certain fighters are fighting, but i can say that as boxers i like cotto and mayweather equally. so my view was unbiased, when i watched the fight initially i did not score it. i felt that cotto was winning a lot of rounds and felt it was very close going into the 10th round, with cotto slightly ahead. mayweather definitely closed out the last two rounds so i have no problem giving him the decision. but it was close as hell and only mayweather stans would tell you that it was 10 rounds to 2 or 9 rounds to 3, or cotto haters.

In all fairness to Cotto ... he did win IMHO rounds 6-9 and possibly round 10. Rounds 1-5 and 11-12 were clearly for Floyd easily!!!! Diaz told Cotto at the end of round 11 that the fight was even :thinking: and I think that's where the problem started for Cotto, thinking he had come close to a "W".

Cotto gets a pass for **** that no other fighter would. Walking out of the ring twice now after losses. Everyone else gets crucified for that. And then somehow because he is crying after loosing that really means hes an emotional warrior and it gets twisted into a positive trait. If his wife ever tries to take his money he should off her because he could get away with murder.
