This should be a great fight, Canelo's style will make this fight exciting, cause he should be coming right at P Will, And P will doesnt use his height he just goes in and likes to trade shots and try to outland his opponent. I am leaning towards P will to win, and probably by KO, I cant see this fight going to the scorecards, both fighters are way to headstrong they are going to bang each other out. I am shocked that they are putting Canelo in with P will.

Since Golden Boy says Canelo has such superstar potential, I don't think they'll put him in with someone that they deem a threat. P-W has the name that will get interest. But his showing against Lara and Ishida show he's not top quality anymore. I never thought Williams was that great as people portrayed him to be. He seriously lacks defense and if Martinez took anything away from him then I think Canelo could do damage.

I got Paul Williams ..Too Much Pressure and his Workrate is Too much for Alvarez Imo , I have never seen Canelo get Roughed up in a Fight before or someone pushing the action to make him Feel uncomfortable , At the Pace Pwill Fights I believe he can Pull the Upset Alvarez Reminds me of Cotto in a way before he Faced Margarito , Where he was used to being the Bully and he would dictate the Pace of the Fight , I don't see Paul Williams giving him a Break at all and I see Canelo trying to Trade with him but Getting Tagged a lot and getting outworked. I am 100% Paul Williams is going to Bring it, He can't afford to Lose anymore and he will go out on his Shield. As much as I would like to see Canelo get a reality check not banking on Williams to do it. Dude went 12 with Ishida who has no big power and Alvarez mixes his punching up and has a lil pop. Paul is there to be tagged and hit big all day. I see Alvarez possible dropping Williams in their fight. If Paul Williams wins then more power to him but there is a reason Golden Boy picked Paul Williams and not Miguel Cotto.

Its gonna be a great war. Cant wait to see this fight. Anyways I'm leaning on Canelo winning it, but I wouldnt at all be surprised if Williams pulls it off.

The ginger isn't southpaw, doesn't move his head, gets tired & doesn't have good defense. The Punisher brings the pressure, workrate & stamina to wear him down. He's also tried & true. The ginger hasn't been on the level that Punisher's been on Agree!!!!! how can anyone else see it any other way. you can only make a prediction based styles and comp and style wise williams is all wrong for canelo and canelo is everything williams want in a opponent. right handed, fights in spurts, and is short on reach and height based on comp williams has faced the better opposition clearly. canelo has not beaten any boxer in williams league and has not blown out the competition below williams league m.hatton, ryan rhodes, 40 year old mosley with bad reflexes all of this guys should have been stoppage win for canelo. based on what is know and what has been shown by both williams and canelo i dont see how anyone could have canelo winning

I want PWILL to win, but if I had to bet money, it would be Alvarez. This is actually a brilliant fight because if he wins, it gives him a great argument for deserving to fight Floyd. We all know Bob isn't making the Mayweather fight this year, so Floyd's options are limited. If Alvarez wins AND looks good, not too many people can cry about him fighting Floyd. However I would like to see Alvarez fight Cotto or Kirkland before fighting Floyd. I agree with Alvarez vs mayweather after he beats cotto... canelo vs MAY after May finally beats pac in the begining of 2013.... matter of fact MAY vs PAC and on the undercard Canelo vs Cotto. Then towards the end of 2013 the winners fight each other and then the losers fight on the undercard vs eachother too. Americans, Mexicans, Puerto ricans, pinoys..... sounds like a PPV dream both events.... if not for Arum....

What the hell is all this claim of robbery and the fight hasn't even taken place yet??? Canelo is a young Lion and making the right steps up in competition.... isnt he 21??? Paul needs to whoop the young kid to regain some respect..... So whats the problem??? If PWILL shows up he could pull it off, given the kid has little experience in fights of this magnitude being 21. If Canelo works on his conditioning he could put himself up there with Martinez.

I don´t know, I don´t think Canelo is a boxer you can defeat by pressuring the pace all the time you would be giving him too many chances to put you to sleep. He had a good dosis of pressure fighters back in México (none like Williams of course).
