The reason I put Camacho over Taylor is that while Taylor had very fast hands with his flurries, Camacho could do that and throw ridiculously fast combos with leverage behind his shots as well, not just fast arm flurries.
Patterson is very underrated. Ali said he was the best "boxer" he ever fought, one of my favorite fighters. Was a really good HW and one of the top in his era until Liston and Ali came around.
Guy had no chin though.
I have to agree. He get's underrated because Liston smashed him to pieces twice in the first round, and Liston himself is underrated. Think of it like this, a young Foreman used to spar with Liston, and in his words Liston was the only guy he ever shared a ring with that he couldn't back up. A 45 year old Foreman was a top flite heavy in the 90's after a decade on the sidelines.
bro, if you put Malignaggi on your list, you would have to put Amir Khan on it too. Cause not only has Khan faster hands than Paulie, he also has twice as much power as Paulie.
well said...there's many more fighters there but like what I said, it's hard to mention all of them. I've forgotten Willie Pep and Thomas Hearns too...and Prince Naseem....and Aaron Pryor.
I'd say, Leonard, Jones and Camacho. For sustained combos I'd say Camacho and Jones. Leonard would flag a bit after 4-5 and was a touch slower than the other two.. For individul speed punches i'd say Jones.
got to give a shout out to an underrated speedster
floyd patterson was unreal type fast in his prime
freakish speed. he had power, too.
Patterson's hands were regarded as being faster than Ali's and the fastest heavyweight hands ever. Of course he was a built up middleweight, which may have helped.

Meldrick Taylor, Howard Davis, Camacho.
Sadly nobody mentioned Zab Judah, fastest hands of his era imo.
I'm with you, I believe Zab Judah has the fastest hands in his era
Hector Camacho too.
Yeah I think I saw him already that's why I ain't mention him.
What about Pryor, de la Hoya he deserves a mention.
I don't see how people haven't named hearns or Nassem hammed
or chalzaghe, James toney jermain Taylor was pretty fast terry Norris
Mayweather David haye even the wald has some pretty quick hands based off his size Devon alexzander chad Dawson Andre Berto Martinez Andre ward Anthony and andre Direll Holyfield had good speed
