Was that the first time Kessler has been down?

I would have been kind of surprised to see Kessler badly hurt to the head, he has a very good chin Bad quality, but damn what a shot.

this is weak try again the actual knockdown wasn't impressive, caught him with a good shot a few moments before though it was similar to when Kessler went down against Froch, not really a proper knockdown

Yes it was the first time. Cliff I read an eyewitness report from Parken by a respected fightreporter. He said there was no count, but it sure looked that way on the screen. I thought I saw Lewis motion to start a count and then pull off on Green. I know he ticked some off for Kess.

He was also stunned by Sartison but never down until today. What a Viking warrior.

Maybe you confused Kessler with Bute. Bute did get beaten down by Andrade in the last round of their first fight.

I just watched the last three rounds on youtube and nothing happened, must have been a different fight. Froch nailed Kessler on more than one occasion. Could be that fight you where thinking about.

First time ever knocked down. Even though Green has some power, he's not a finisher. Kinda like Edison Miranda.

he was a punching bag, but in the late rounds he nailed kessler a few times. I'm 90% sure...let me see if I can find it... You wont find it. Guaranteed.

pretty sure. there was one fight that he was pretty hurt in in the later rounds and for a minute I thought he might go down...god what fight was that. Andrade? can't remember exactly. Calzaghe. he was HURT on a body shot in the ninth. I mentioned it in the coming post-fight report.
