I would only count their POST DLH numbers.
They are the draws that they are because of Oscar...it's just the truth. Pre-Oscar they're best selling PPV's were in the 400-500 range I believe. And Pac-Oscar was believed to be a joke of a fight.
To me, when determining revenue generated all I really care about when comparing the two are what they did post DLH.

:lol1: whats good my dude!!!
I think option two is the BEST...
It's essentially 50/50 but if it starts approaching record breaking numbers (greater than 1.5 million) then Floyd should be compensated as he has done those types of numbers twice...
And if the fight does Mayweather-Cotto numbers then both guys are paid evenly...
And the 1.4 million, Pac's highest ppv number without Oscar, isn't even official. Lots of fvckery going on.
Doesn't it seem miiiiiiighty strange that nobody would want to release the official numbers for Pacquiao's best selling fight?
When Floyd sold 1.4 million, HBO was extremely happy and issued a press release. Why would they sit on Pac doing 1.4 mil? Hmmmm, I wonder?
If you drew a chart, are Mayweather's revenues increasing or decreasing?
Are Pacquiao's revenues increasing or decreasing?
Please use OFFICIAL numbers.
The Easiest Solution? GET BOB ARUM OUT OF THE WAY!
I think Mayweather would compromise his % Split with Arum out of the way...I think Mayweather just has a problem with the Thought of Arum making money off of him...AGAIN
The Cotto fight got done with no problem and Cotto got some % of the fight, things went smoothly in negotiations without Arum...imagine if Cotto would have stayed with Arum and tried to do the Mayweather fight, the fight would have never gotten done
as ive already mentioned, when you break down their ppv performances from when they were the a-side
Pac has generated 6.7 million ppvs since may 09
Floyd 6.2 since december 07
Those numbers are misleading and inaccurate.
In 15 pay-per-views -- several of which were smaller shows put on by Top Rank early in his career -- Pacquiao has generated 9.9 million buys and an estimated $525 million in revenue.
Mayweather has fought on pay-per-view nine times, generating 9.6 million buys and $540 million in revenue.

Does it seem strange to anyone else that Pacquiao's guarantee MIRACULOUSLY increased when he went to a state that has no reporting?
Yeah. Right. Pacquiao's guarantee for Clottey was double the guarantee for Mosley.
Yep. I completely believe that.
Sure.
THIS is why Richard Schaefer said to bring in an independdnt accounting firm. You just can't believe Manny's and Arum's fake numbers.
That is because Floyd is a moron in that regard.
You're absolutely right. There are actually 2 splits involved, 3 if you could the PPV/Cable folks. The 2 splits are the split of the PPV etc between the fighters and then the split between the fighter and his promoter.
There's really no reliable evidence as to who makes more, Mayweather or Pacquiao. I personally dont care, but the crazies seem to salivate over it. Promoters encourage this as do boxing sites, so they won't break it down...except what we hear in seemingly unconnected comment. So far I've found that the fight-night promotor payment of the declared guarantee to the Commissions is meaningless, to comply with the "greater financial openness" of the "Ali Act". Also that Top Rank's split arrangement with MannyP is 80-20 in favour of Pacquiao. I've also seen an report saying 82.5-17-5% As I say, again, who cares.
as ive already mentioned, when you break down their ppv performances from when they were the a-side
Pac has generated 6.7 million ppvs since may 09
Floyd 6.2 since december 07
This includes floyd's fight against cotto, but does not include pac's vs bradley, so this is a conservative evaluation
Pac's per annum sales are 1.6 times more than floyd's so the fair split is 60-40, but best to hold it, because after pac bradley, we'll probably have to change that to 65-35 in favor of pac.
Floyd offering someone who sells almost twice as many ppvs a 40 mil flat fee is a clear sign of a duck.

i disagree, the fighters purses are supposedly the last thing holding this fight up!!
That is because Floyd is a moron in that regard.
What the fighters make/take home is completely irrelveant to deciding a split. What matters to a split is revenue generated and nothing more. Just cause GBP is willing to guarantee Floyd more than Top Rank is Pacquiao means absolutely nothing for this particular discussion.
