lennox lewis is top 3 all-time great heavyweight who beat the best of his era. vitali klitschko did not beat the best of his time & has been bottom feeding since he came back. he waited until the best guys were done & got old before he came back. he gets hurt & retires instead of fighting rahman, maskaev, tua, tyson, holyfield, bowe, golota, ruiz, toney, botha, grant, oquendo, mccline, mccall, mesi, mercer, barrett, haye, povetkin, ibragimov. he did beat peter, briggs, arreola, donald, sanders, danny williams, kirk johnson. when he was in his prime he could have fought anyone of these guys but it never happened. he was protected by fighting soft tossers who could not hurt him. his best opponents were bryd & lewis & he's 0-2. vitali has had a solid career & won a couple titles but it doesn't matter what anyone says about injury he still never got a signature win vs anyone. just look at the names vitali didn't fight against the men he fought. it says it all...also take note of the names lennox has a win over. both have guys they beat when fading but just look at the names each has fought. it's not close. all these names were in the same era as both. vitali didn't make it count when it would have meant something. after the byrd fight he faded back to europe while byrd went on to win 2 world titles. when vitali was champion back then who did he defend against? when maskaev & rahman were signed he pulled out from injury.
Lennox is great and all that, but i dont like how good Frank bruno looked against Lennox. Lennox didnt half make Frank Bruno look like a world beater. Mike Tyson made Bruno look like a part time boxer journeyman.
Also Tyrell Biggs said hed put his money on Tyson and hes fought them both.
Vitali beat up lennox, he was ahead on the cards, Vitali won
:haha: :haha:
It's sad when it gets to a point where a fighter's face is busted open and he's stopped and his crazy fanbase claim he won.
:lol1:
He lost, by stoppage.
Vitali beat up lennox, he was ahead on the cards, Vitali won
Vitaly got beat up, bloodied and stop. He did NOT win and fans have to learn to live with it.
I have alot of respect for Lennox Lewis. He beat everybody he fought, beat basically all the top heavyweights of his era, didn't get lured out of retirement, and hes a class act as a person.
I think Lewis is one of most over rated HW in history , he really beat nobody top line in their primes and was KOed by a bum , Ali would have boxed his ears off , its been a long time since we had truly great HWs , has been more a case of poor opposition and huge men .
Maybe if they had finalize a rematch Lewis would not of been your boo. I see both as 1st ballot hall of famers. How can u shi% on the career of a man that has been in control of every fight he has fought in even the one against lewis. ( for the Byrd fight He quit on his stool because of his shoulder but he was in control at the time) its hard not to rank him as an alltime great heavy weight. He would give hell to the best of them just because of his size.
i can't argue about his size but he never fought too many legit contenders in his ERA...it doesn't matter if he was winning in his 2 losses. injuries happen & he never got the chance to rematch either. so it's all heresay but his resume is decent but not all-time great worthy. i listed all the heavyweights he could have fought but didn't. lewis didn't fight many of those names either but he beat all the top names on that list but bowe.

Since this is going to be debated as to what's signature, I'll just say this... He has one of the highest KO rates in HW history, he's always comfortably won rounds and fights by a wide margin. He almost defines of this era in boxing.
The reason I don't want to get into signature is people will laugh and discredit opponents because of age, time of the fight etc. I know, but it's the same as Pacman in some regards. I'll just leave that can of worms unopened. I know his resume is basically comparable to Braddock so yeah. Peace and love.
i stated in my thread both beat fading opponents but look at the guys vitali never fought during his career.
And Wladimir's best win? I think Haye will always be Wlad's signature win regardless of whether he was the best opponent.
Nah man, I still think people like Byrd or Peter are better wins.
But he has never been a staple win person either it's just people with eyes know he's a borderline GREAT fighter.

Honestly I think it was Kirk Johnson. .

The only guy that can beat a Prime Lennox
is iron chin Olivier Mccall
but Prime Olivier Mccall will
Ko Tyson
tko vitali
ko wlad
and most likely ko Ali as well
I'm sorry but Prime Big George would **** Lewis all up.
He'd bum rush him and Lewis isn't boxing a damn thing. He'd get swarmed with ugly and end up highlight KO
