Nick Casal brutally attacked; fight cancelled (sick pictures)

Casal was out with his girlfriend when from he was brutally attacked from behind by a gang wielding golf clubs. The attackers were identified as her ex-boyfriend and his friends. Medical reports are that Casal has a possible broken arm, multiple lacerations, including one at least 12 inches long. Casal was in preparation for the biggest fight of his career on June 29th in his hometown of Niagara Falls against Ruslan Provodnikov (21-1, 14 KOs) for the WBO Inter-Continental title. The fight was to be the main event of a nationally televised card on ESPN2′s Friday Night Fights. Obviously Casal will now not be able to fight on this date. http://tinyurl.com/88kyx2v

Holy crap, its hard to believe golf clubs made that damage. It looks like he was sliced with a knife. His girlfriend must have freaked out. Imagine all the blood that was gushing out of his head. The ex boyfriend has been identified, so he won't be getting away with it.

Sh1t! The gold clubs should've been used by him, against those guys...NOT the other way around. Injuries like this either kill people, or is a sure-as-sh1t indicator that their life will never be the same, smh. I figure that the ex knew that she wasn't gonna take him back, so hey, why not mess up the career of the new boyfriend? Weak stuff man...weak stuff. As somebody mentioned earlier, this is nothing short of attempted murder, regardless of how the assailants thought it was going to pan out.
