For those of you holding out for Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather, forget about it. It ain't gonna happen. And the reason is simple.
Mayweather, at age 35, is getting old. And if he didn't fight the hard-punching, still blazing fast Pacquiao two or three years ago when he was at the peak of his powers -- he sure is not going to fight him when his skills have deteriorated so obviously.

No, he still have excuses as to why there wont be a Mayweather Jr vs Pacman!
He can still blame Arum, or insist on another demand such as, 154lbs weight and so on and on, until he reaches retirement age.
My only problem with these idiots is that they act as if Pacquiao is not also aging. There are some differences between Cotto and Pacquiao. Cotto is a very physical fighter who can cut off the ring while Pacquiao is none of those things. And even at 35 Mayweather is much faster and much more defensively sound than a 38 year old Juan Manuel Marquez. The only way Pacquiao has a chance at beating Mayweather is if Mayweather loses a significant amount of speed and reflexes and Pacquiao loses absolutely nothing.
Floyd disagrees with you homey. I'd believe that nonsense if he stops ducking.

If Floyd's skills have "deteriorated" because he looked less than superhuman (Sure you were yelling, "HE BLEEDS! Oh, my GOD!") against Cotto, then it's fair to say that Pacman is shot to hell after his last two performances.
Or you can just stop the nonsense and accept that both are no longer in their primes and the fight will still be somewhat competitive if it ever happens.
One of these days Pacquiao will call his bluff again -- accept his insulting offer.
Floyd's reaction: come up with another excuse.
I do hope Pacquiao does that again.
