and give them some exposure so when they leave casual fans can have been introduced to other up and coming fighters...Manny fighting Bradley is a good look/lets see of the Floyd-Ortiz fight will reflect in the Berto-ortiz rematch
I agree but the problem is the experience gap is so huge that these younger guys will end up falling apart. Cotto and Bradley are not one of these guys...well, Cotto we know isn't but Tim will have his chance to show his worth. Cotto experience and pediree made all the difference IMO. Anyway the others....they are slowly catching up and getting some championship fights under their belt.
Don't understand why people keep calling for either to retire, I still like watching them fight. Berto is still there, Guerrero might start making noise at 147, no telling what Kell Brook or Khan do at '47 either.
Because they are just wasting all our time and making us look like idiots with the way they are doing things now. I'd rather they not fight if they aren't going to fight each other.
great post. yes if you have noticed all mayweather and manny
are fighting these days are fighters that are older
???bradley, ortiz and cotto are all younger than manny and floyd

What happened to Solomon? Any news?
No, the best thing they can do if they never fight is either fight Martinez or retire. And the window to fight Martinez is closing rapidly.

But if all these young fighters lose and get embarrassed by the older fighters why would that impress the casual fans? Just my opinion. If Pacquiao TKOs Bradley I could imagine casual fans looking at a Bradley fight in a couple years and saying "this chump lost to Pacquiao when Manny was on his way down". Just like Hopkins beating younger men like Pascal and Pavlik. Yeah Bhops is an all time great but he is really old and still beating up young guys. What does that say about the young fighters?
no ...if a young fighter has "it" they will put up a great showing and EARN their fans
