I personally dont think Manny floyd will fight. so my question is who were the last two great fighters from the same era and same weight class that never met each other in the ring?
Leonard-Pryor point blank period. Pryor would have won that damn fight as well. Never seen someone that reused to lose as much as he did.
Didn't Pryor turn down that fight?
Think I read that somewhere.
Mosley Vs. Trinidad was basically a done deal, all Shane had to do was beat Winky.
Pedroza Vs. Sanchez
Trinidad,Quartey and Whittaker basically fought nobodies for years playing musical chairs while champions at Welterweight.
Mosley never fought Stevie Johnston or Nazarov during his lightweight run.
Ricardo Lopez never fought Carbajal or Gonzales when they were only 3 pounds apart.
Mayweather never fought Frietas or Casamayor while they all held titles at jr Lightweight.(This had more to do with back in the day HBO fighters never fought Showtime fighters).
Some of these fighters might not be considered great but they were top fighters at the time.
Mosleys only chance is to win by KO, if he catches him flush early and dropped him, like many of Trinidads opponents, and was able to finish him off with a picky ref.
Theres no chance Mosley is winning a decision. Trinidad would have beat the stuffing out of him down the stretch.

I would have loved to have saw Pacquiao vs Naseem Hamed in his prime.
Oscar vs. Winky
Oscar vs. Forrest
Bowe vs. Tyson
Bowe vs. Lewis
Jones Jr vs. Calzaghe, Benn, Eubank and Michalczewski.
Pryor vs. Leonard
Norton vs. Frazier
Chavez vs. Terry Norris
Burley vs. SRR
Dick Tiger vs. Papp
All I think of right now.
Why you say that??Tiito was a better boxer then he gets credit for(granted),but he was very chinny threwout his career..Mosley was a hella of a puncher in his prime,I really don't think its all that crazy to think Mosley KO's Tito...
get knocked down maybe
but
not knocked out
he was also known to get back
up from a knock down
and win the fight.
respect you think Mosley will win,
but no way by Ko

Someone with a more knowledge than me give me a good explanation as to why Pryor/Duran didn't happen
They were never at the same weight.
By the time Pryor was actually noteworthy, Duran was at light-middle
Tyson and holyfield
Tyson and lennox lewis
The fights didnt happen when they should have and they and either one or both werent great when they actually fought.
