its been a few years since hes been retired, and we all know hes been on that booger sugar, but lets say he needs some money, do you think he would come out of retirement for maybe a ward fight? or even a froch fight? this just came up because i was watching ward-froch and on the side of my youtube channel saw a calzaghe interview saying he would be ward
the only thing worse than a layoff of nearly half a decade is one that was marred in drug use
calzaghe was a very good fighter but he labored too long in total obscurity
if he wanted to make money he should have come stateside sooner. personally i think he would have always been a hard task for hopkins. rough style. enough size and speed to keep from being roughed up or forced into fighting bernard's fight. 50 / 50 if hopkins jumped from MW to fight calzaghe at smw in his prime
prime jones would light him up. stoppage.
calzaghe wouldn't lay a glove on him.
i heard an interview last year where calzaghe said he would definitely come back for $10 million.. so there is a chance he'll be back but it'll take 10 milly to do it.. if Ward (or anyone at SMW or LHW) can blow up big time this year and make Mayweather money then Calzaghe's coming back..
I think if Froch had won the Super Six, there'd have been a slight chance because that would've been a huge fight here. But don't see it now. Ward is not a big enough star to come out of retirement for.

So he pretty much won't be coming back lol
