Now that it has been established that Lamont Peterson used synthetic testosterone before the first fight, and given the controversy that surrounded the decision, have you gained new found respect for Khan's performance?
Yes everyone should respect khan as he has trained with the full intention with getting his titles back, and the powers that be leave it up to fight night to reveal peterson was on PEDS, how unfair is that? Peterson was like a man possesed with his peds coming back from bombs that he did khan was willing to fight him again.
Peterson sounded confident he could beat Khan again, as he knew he had his special PEDs in his locker room and he knew he could count on that to raise his performance.
On that aspect, yes khan got balls. But fighting the way he did against peterson is no balls in my book.
I am sorry Bush but that is how I see it.
Believe me it's ok. Like I said I'm not a fan of Khan's. But I do think he has a pair. Sometimes fighters just get into a situation where they fall apart in the ring, (like Khan does & will continue to do), after 4 rounds. But He did go to Lamonts backyard to fight & the ref did screw him over something fierce. I must admit I'd be 1 pissed of mofo if that $h!t happened to me.
Just like Cotto, under pressure he falls apart. But he fights anyone. To me that's heart. Some fighters would not even fight a man. Khan fights a man in his backyard & gets screwed for his trouble.
While the PEDs would have definitely helped the physical side of Peterson and therefore the pressurizing style he fought with, that is not the only reason Khan lost/was a close fight. Lamont being on drugs won't change the fact that Khan is a very flawed fighter (can't take pressure and fight on the inside).
I am a fan of Khan in the ring and I thought he won the first fight. But I won't get carried away and say that the performance was impressive just because Peterson was on drugs. That fight exposed Khan's flaws and wasn't all that impressive imo in the context of whether Khan is the best fighter at 140 and a top P4P fighter.
Hometowm decision
Hometown ref
Man in the Hat handling scorecards when he shouldnt have been there.
All legitimate gripes. But nah Khan was just "whining". The same faaggots sayin that are the ones who say "clean up the sport!" like little sheep but when Khan stands up against corruption, he's a "b1tch"
no he cried like a b1tch and looked for 10000 reasons to have his belts just handed back.if he would have just lost and demanded a rematch and this happened i would have felt differently
No he didnt. He always wanted the rematch. Stop making things up. His complaining was all justified, can someone explain what he was wrong about?
how can 30 people still think Khan lost the fight??? Lets see hometown refereeing, judging interference and the dude was on testosterone pellets before their first fight?? Are you kidding me?? Sure Khan complained alot but are you just suppose to accept that you were cheated like its no big deal. Lotta haters in here.
Its hard to say because we will never really know what impact, if any, what Lamont took in Nov. had on the first fight. It could be that it gave him a physical advantage and Khan would have dropped him if not for the PED's he took. In that case yeah Khan should get credit because the fight wasn't on a level playing field and he still almost pulled it out.
Or it could be that regardless of what the doc gave him, Peterson still would have given Khan a tough night either way. We will never know.
They weren't on a level playing field bottom line! That's all you need to know!
No, I hate whiners. He should have taken his loss like a man. I still want to see a rematch and I'm against him getting his belt backs any other way than fighting for them.
I am a Khan fan but am starting to dislike him. His family are extremely greedy, and a lot of Pakistani's are like his. Not wanting to soudn racist but that's how I have seen it living in the UK.
He is also very arrogant and in a sideways approach, puts people down.
That was completely relevant to the question at hand................

People who are saying PED's had nothing do with the outcome of the first fight are IDIOTS, and proves they are unable to be objective and unbiased! If this had happened to Floyd his fans would be ready to burn this site down!
I still had Khan winning the first fight and it took Peterson being at home, 2 controversial point deductions, the referee, judge interference , and PED's to win a controversial decision! WOW! Even cheating he couldn't win convincingly!
