Like i said in your last thread.. Cotto fans knew who the better fighter was.. I knew Cotto was gonna lose to Floyd.. but i was still at the fight with my flag waved high.. i will still support Cotto doesnt matter how many "L's" on his record.. Im a fan because every time he steps in the ring I know hes gonna give a great performance.. How many other current fighters can you say that about?... :boxing:
Yea I think the buildup between the fans reflected the buildup between the fighters.
There can be respect shown and still be a balls to the wall fight.
I have to hand it to both. Cotto was clearly upset after the fight, not giving an interview but that's understandable when you've been in a tough fight. His comments after the fight have been all class.
As far as the fans on boxingscene, pure class as well. I haven't seen any Cotto fans whining about the decision. All the whining has been done by Pacquiao fans and Mayweather haters, oddly enough. :thinking:My theory is that after JMM-Pac III they decided to do this no matter who Floyd fought or the fashion he won in. That and the fact that Pacquiao has unquestionably the most garbage fans in the history of sports. No matter how low you set the bar for them they'll show up with shovels.
