And Cotto lost to Pac and Floyd too. I Mean they are both in the same card and are Arguably p4p top ten.
No, go to any respectable website and look at their top 10. Cotto is and should not be in any of them. Marquez would probably crack most top 5 but definitely be in the top 10. Go and see.
I agree with Cotto giving Martinez problems and probably beating him. Don't think Martinez is much quicker then Cotto. Body shots and jabs all day for Cotto.
Personally, id rather see cotto fight martinez than canelo. It would seem best for cotto legacy wise, and i think he could pull it off. Martinez is alot bigger and probably stronger of a puncher, but cotto is very skilled and could make it a fight. Id be worried about martinez' lead left, but at the same time he is an awkward/offbalance type of fighter, so i could see miguel getting a couple knockdowns aswell. Would be a great fight imo.
But then again, maybe cotto should just stick to fighting scrubs, so he can be ranked as high as martinez on the p4p list :P
Ridiculous he's not in the top 10. I always thought P4P was skills AND resume. He's done way more then Bradley and proven he's got alot left.
This is just what i believe. I don't see why Cotto isn't in most lists, at least, around #9 or #10. It seems fair all things considered (resume, capabilities, style matchups with elite P4P fighters).
Him too, i dont agree with it at all
He legit gets passes for losing, first to Floyd, then Pac

A lot of people gave him 4 or 5 rounds.....and at least 9 of the 12 rounds were close rounds.
Depends who you ask. At the end of the fight it was clear who won. It was not controversial like Pacquiao-Marquez 3 was where everybody had different score cards.
Maybe, i dont see it as being a crime to. He's a beast who would give everybody a run for their money, even the elites/top p4p'ers.
And yes, im also saying cotto would give martinez, a much bigger guy, a run for his money. Depends on how yo uview p4p i guess.

how do you move up in the top 10 by losing to the 2# p4p fighter in the world?
mayweather minions once again with their altered realities.
How does losing to the #2 (or #1, depending) p4p guy automatically disqualify you from being ranked at say 9 or 10 p4p?
Maybe this fight really was a product of a 1 or 2 p4p'er getting the better of a number 9 or10 p4p' er.
Because think about what you are saying, either a decent p4p'er such as cotto made it a good fight, or a guy who isnt in the p4p rankings made it a good fight with floyd...but what does that say about floyd?
This is a joke right? He won like 3 rounds. That's considerably good?
