The 09 Cotto was weight drained and had a bad trainer.
He tried to brawl with Pacquaio.
The new Cotto executed a perfect game plan and came up short.
He also boxed more and didnt brawl with Mayweather.
At 154, This Cotto will beat Manny.
Debate Regarding Manny ducking Cotto because of a CW...
Pacfan: Manny beats Cotto at any weight!!!
Boxing fan To Pacfan: Then if Manny beats Cotto at any weight, then why did Manny ducked Cotto because of a CW, after pursing and wanting to fight Cotto in the first place?
Pacfan answer to Boxing fan: ahhhhhhh....Manny doesn't need to fight Cotto.
Boxing fan To Pacfan again: My question wasn't wither Manny needed to fight Cotto again. My question is why did Manny all of a sudden duck Cotto because of a CW, after wanting and having Cotto as his first option?
Pacfan answers to Boxing fan: ahhhhh oh.....Manny beats Cotto at any weight!!
Boxing Fan To Pacfan again: OK OK OK, if Manny can beat Cotto at any weight as you say, then why does Manny need a CW for a fight he wants? Don't you think if Manny could beat Cotto at any weight, then he wouldn't need a CW, especially since Manny was the one who wanted this fight in the first place? Why need a CW?
Pacfan Answers to boxing fan: ahhhhhh oh...go away F.l0m0......
:lol1:
LOL with this Cotto version is better than past Cotto version. Does Cotto look drained during fight night? No, he physically looks like the same in his previous fights before Pac. Miguel even said it himself, his in the best shape in his life. Cotto still looks like he still weigh more than 10 pounds during fight night.
Now, like i said before, i believed Pacquiao is on a down hill. The current version of Pac facing the current version of Cotto, its a toss up. Pac still has the speed, foot movement, skills, and power to knock Cotto down. But Cotto at 154 has the weight advantage. Pac can't even make past 147 and is only 1 pound over the ww limit during fight night. Cotto seems tired to in the later rounds. He didn't do that much when he had Floyd in the corner. So if Pac keeps landing and Cotto getting getting tired, Pac would still win.
If this was the Pac that Cotto/Margarito fought against the Cotto of last night at 154, i still see Pac winning.
So he was somehow better after not winning a fight in a year?
And sure you can tell your opinion all you want. Everyone will just think you huff paint.
Can someone please explain why Manny doesn't want to fight Cotto with out a catchweight if Manny can beat Cotto at any weight, especially since Manny was the one pursing this fight with Cotto in the first place only to have the fight fall apart because of a CW.
Straight up horse crap like this is why you get no respect , Pac refused to fight this Cotto he would get mauled , drained fighters are not at their best , fighters coming of their biggest loses on top of draining are definatly not at their best .
Yeah cotto was drained.. Stop it.. dude.. stop regurgitating what Floyd says all the time.. Everyone knows cotto was in top form weighing a pound lighter than he did his last fight... Whatever suits your agenda because Manny whooped Cotto far better than Floyd did.. We all know you are a flowmo so your opinion is shiet... Respect from a flowmo requires you to be one and I don't suck on Floyd balls.
sorry , you like to throw excuses, . shane was inactive for 18 months prior to the floyd fight.....and no, i'll watch the sport for as long as i want to, and tell my opinion like i like it

You want to play that game.. well Cotto is 3 years older when Floyd got to him so he is really Pac's leftover, and yet Floyd couldnt dominate the way Pac did.. And since you want to talk about weight, well Hatton fought at his best weight when he fought Pac even though Floyd got to him first..
So you cant have an excuse for Cotto when he fought Pac, without being consistent with your excuse when Hatton was obliterated by Pac.. Because both excuses would contradict each other..
Pac refuses to fight Cotto without a CW we all seen why lol .
no i dont think pac will beat him..you know why?...cozz i dont think floyd will fight him...
" I just fight...tak ta muh Pramoter." take two to tango...bet if he left Arum the fight wouldve happened sooner...see how fast it happened after Cotto left him, he wanted him to fight Manny at another catchweight...come on...Manny and Mayweather want the fight...Arum just dont wanna see his cash cow lose...and you still wont admit you dont think Manny can beat Mayweather...feels like blasphemy dont it...its ok to like a fighter and think someone beats them...I dont think Mayweather beats Martinez
LMAO.. people can't stand that... Try to make up
stupid excuses.. 09 cotto better physically, younger, faster, etc...

DLH was at a weight he hadnt competed at in what 8 years, Mayweather already beat Hatton,so u truely believe Mosley who hadnt won a fight in two years was better than when he fought Mayweather, come on you dont even believe yourself

so you are gonna ignore that after losing to Mayweather he fought a draw with Mora and also didnt look good....guess you got selective vision but dude hadnt won a fight in 2 years when Manny fought him thats alot worse than a layoff after a huge win man...you are so biased

But your not a biased hater that just started watching the sport are you lol .
:lol1: does it hurt pac outperforms floyd once again?..

Which explains why Manny ducked Cotto at 154. A non weight drained Cotto is a very game fighter. Too much game for Manny.
Seriously?? Thats 4 excuses you have in 4 fights.. I mean you can sense the bitterness on this post.. lol.. Just admit it that Pac will almost always outperform Floyd because he takes more chances, and his more of an offensive fighter than Floyd.

Physically, once a fighter gets past the age of 28, the younger fighter is always superior to the older version.
Cotto is more conscientious of a game plan now than in 2008, which was his prime. He basically didn't have a game plan for the first Margarito fight, whereas he did for the 2nd. The 2008 Cotto was more immature than the present-day Cotto, which helps him a great deal.
He still doesn't have the hand speed he used to have, and he doesn't go to the body like he used to. He's also more hesitant since the first Margarito fight, which leads to him not annihilating his opponents when he backs them against the ropes. He used to break arms doing that. Now, he worries about getting countered. The old Cotto used to get dropped all the time and that didn't stop him from committing to his shots.
