Hopkins always gets good numbers on premium cable, also that Chavez guy (the writer of the article) always moans about the ratings being smaller then they were 10 years ago...the fact is all HBO shows in general have much smaller ratings then they did a decade ago since there are a lot more channels today and these 2012 numbers are much more healthy then they were in 2009-2011.
this is exactly what I was talking about with my Khan-Peterson 24/7 thread. Just because its not PPV doesnt mean that its not worth putting on 24/7. Ratings matter and 24/7 is a great series. I think the series would catch on and get alot of views which would in turn make there fight get a huge rating comparable to Hopkins-Dawson if not better except it would actually be a good fight that would make people wanna see boxing more & more
