Seth Mitchel took way to many hits from weatherspoon, and left himself too open...i know he has goldenboy behind him..but to early for klitchko talk ..i feel
I think if for once they actually give a rising fighter some decent challenges before he fights Wlad, then he could have a chance in maybe 2-3 years. People saying a year is enough time, well thats about 3 fights and I think this guy needs at least 4 maybe even 6 fights to be ready for a fighter. His body Punches would only give Wlad a problem if he could get inside vs Wlad, and lets be honest at the moment he does not have the ring IQ to get inside vs Wlad. If there serious about this guy, then let him fight a couple more C+ fighters, then move onto Tony Thompson, who Wlad will beat in july, Thompson would prob take this fight due to money and it would present Seth with the oppurtunity to try and get inside vs a tall guy. If he beats Thompson then move onto an arreola or an adamek, then fight a couple of other C+ guys before fighting a Povetkin/Chisora/Fury. If he beats all these guys I've named, that would set him up in 3 years to fight a 38 year old Wlad, and I think being built up like this would give him a decent chance, if he just takes say 2 more fights then fights Wlad I think he will get destroyed.
Definitely too early to talk the brothers. Quite frankly by the time he's ready Vitali will probably be retired. But Mitchel does have 1 dimension that heavyweight boxing as a whole is lacking. That's body punching. With some fine tuning & maybe a Joe Frazier peakaboo addition, he'll give Wlad hell Malone.
he's not going to beat wladimir
but he'll make 3 million fighting him and they might even put the fight in america if the money is right after letting mitchell become a name in the division
wladimir would stop mitchell in six brutal rounds
maybe less.
