The better recognized names? Draw with cintron..lost to margarito..lost to Williams....
Best win is a c class pavlik fresh out of AA:sad6:
did you even watch that fight???he knocked Citron the fuck out
Dude margarito is a bumb....he got outboxed and embarrassed by Quintana the first time.
Pavlik is a c class fighter man....1 trick pony
when did Margo fight Quintana??i must have missed that
Tim Bradley's resume is 1,000,000,000,000,000x better than Sergio's Martinez.
Sergio's resume is so impressive that Chavez is willing to toss away his belt, avoid his mando, and move up in weight to avoid fighting him....:haha:
Sergio...just look at the records of the guys that he is beating..after moving up in weight. Some people say they are no names but they are all very skilled, virtually unbeaten guys.
Bradley's resume is great but he hasn't been boxing long enough to accumulate the type of resume that Sergio has. When he beats Pac however, his resume will be golden.
Bradley got the better resume - he is undefeated, has fought decent opposition Peterson, Alexander, Vazquez, Witter. Once he TKOs Pac in 4 rounds he'll fight A Mere Con and beat him as well. Bradley has a future in boxing.
Whereas Martinez is a old man, no one wants to fight him. He was unlucky with the Cintron fight, first fight with Williams he got beat and the rematch TKO was a lucky punch. He got TKO'ed by Margarito early in his career and is th only other big name.
nobody wants to fight martinez, excuse after excuse. that's partly why his resume is weak.
bradley's career so far has been tainted by ducking khan, so the fight vs. pac will show where he stands right now.
Bradley's resume is rather quite impressive. He was top dog at 140, a unified champion, undefeated & he has more to offer.
Meanwhile Martinez has only just gotten recognized for what he's done. But he found his power somewhere & sparked at least 1 fella the fighters ranked higher ducked.
I'd say they're actually a lot closer than people realize. But Martinez beats fighters that Bradley can't with his size & power.
Their resumes are closer than people are making out to be.
Sergio Martinez notable wins- Pavlik, Paul Williams.
Bradley's notable wins- Holt, Allexander, Peterson.
Yeh I meant margarito is a bum..and he lost to p will...p wills best win is vs Quintana who had already got embarrassed by Quintana
Marg beat Cotto, Clottey, was the first to beat Cintron if I recall and has the Martinez win to his resume (young or not, still on the resume). Hell, Marg might have a better resume than Bradley... Marg put in some work in his career, P.Will beat him at a time where people were talking about how feared Marg was, how Floyd was ducking him, how everybody was ducking him. Marg beat Cintron when Cintron had a so called cannon for a punch. Good win for P.Will..better than anything Bradley has thus far in my humble opinion.
Marg, P.Will, and Martinez all have better resumes imo... It's no surprise these guys have all fought each other too.
Dude margarito is a bumb....he got outboxed and embarrassed by Quintana the first time.
Pavlik is a c class fighter man....1 trick pony
Yeah, bro. Quintana beat Margo badly. In fact, he beat Marg SO BAD..that his punches obliterated any trace of the fight.
Bradley has had some good wins, and the only reason the Peterson one is considered better than it is, is because Peterson "beat" Kahn. Not like he lost to Ortiz.
Alexander who was over rated (Hell, you could say the Macklin win is better than this one considering Alexander's fight with Matthysse, but I don't expect you to have seen that fight)
Bradley has a few good wins, but he hasn't exactly been beating world beaters since his pro debut. Sergiy and Macklin were solid, god forbid we give any props because the American public deemed them unworthy.
While Martinez was out chasing bigger fights, Bradley was shying away from the biggest one at 140. Let's not conveniently forget about that.
I really like Bradley, he seems like a nice, goofy guy. But his best wins aren't as good as Martinez's best wins (and even "non" wins if you watched the fights). If he beats Pac, Bradley is obviously ahead. P.Will has some nice names on his resume, and some not completely shot..and P.Will was highly avoided at one point. He lost to Quintana once, but redeemed himself (If you want to call it that). I'm a big P.Will detractor, but I'll give him props. Dude tried to fight anybody.
Anyway, I go with Sergio..for now. Bradley will most likely eclipse him over his career (not sure how I like Bradley's chances at 147 vs guys like Ortiz and Berto if he doesn't win this Pac fight..which he's also not favored to win..but he has the names near him to make it happen).
Williams is one of the most overrated fighters in boxing....the best name on his resume is winky who was on a 2 year layoff:feedback:
How about Antonio Margarito and the rematch with Quintana where he blew him out in 1 round? Seriously did you ever watch Williams fights before Martinez? You think he clearly lost to Martinez so never mind you probably never watched those either.
Pavlik was coming off rehab man...pavlik has always been a c class fighter
Yet he was coming off two stoppages holding the WBO/WBC and Ring Middleweight titles? Yeah C Class fighters win world championship belts and defend them quite a few times. His only other loss is to an All Time Great in Bernard Hopkins.
I'd go with Timothy Bradley
He's fought stiff competition one after the after, with the exception of Abregu, all the while remaining undefeated. His resume speaks for itself - Witter, Holt, Alexander, Campbell, Abregu (147) and Peterson.
Sergio Martinez is a good fighter, but his resume is a little overrated because his wins have been impressive.
I'm sure if you put Bradley in the ring with the 140 equivalent of Barker and Macklin he'd win impressively as well.
witter - lol
holt - damn he's a good fighter
alexander - coming off loss to kotelnyk
cambell- fight ruled no contest after brad head butt
abregu -LMAO
peterson - good win
casamayor - shot to sh1t
