with the weigh in quite a few hours away I'm pumped....so excited!!....not only do I get a chance to see my fav fighter add to his legacy it may also be the last time we see him do the dam thing!!...cherish those 36 minutes...I will!!....B.Hop wins a close decision.....I'll break it down on my lunch break...right now got some work to do....poll on the way!! :boxing:
Dude...hy the **** would I bet on Dawson and then prop POPKINS (and constantly refer to him as that) up the entire fight?
You are a fukking idiot bro..you aren't impressing anyone, you sound like a dumb ass 16 year old. I bet like 300 Million e points that Dawson would win....who the phukk are u to be tha man?
:lol1: :lol1:
Ok...We believe you.
While the fight was boring and neither did much, Dawson deserved the victory and proved my prediction wrong. I think Hopkins was completely capable of winning he just didn't commit enough. The straight right hand wasnt thrown enough, he threw no combinations, all the holding was ridiculous, but if he used a jab and stayed busier I think he could have won. I had it 117-111 Dawson. Btw, Dawson did not impress me, again. Not active enough, not enough combos, threw a decent jab but not enough, and in a more technical observation, his distance was horrible throughout the fight. He stayed too close which allowed Bhop to clinch and smother. He could have easily teed off on Hopkins from the right distance but he was either too far or in too close. Anyone else notice this?
sadly yes, i think this should be the end for Hopkins. dawson wasn't a good style for him to be able to exploit another young strong guy. but still, Hopkins was never hurt in the fight, I dont think dawson was either though.
Ya think,In boxing you have to land meaningful punches to hurt the other fighter. Neither did. Very observant.
Had it 116-112 Dawson.
Didnt see how Hopkins could win this fight. Dawson settled down after the headbutt and took control of the fight. Showed a lot of mental toughness.
Did Dawson ever land a good punch, neither one of them did. Fight looked more like a hugging match. Sh itty display of the sport of boxing. Terrible fight they both looked affraid to fight. Dawson let the smaller older Hopkins manhandle him for 12 rounds. Never threw many meaningful combinations. neither fighter looked like a champion.

If you think anyone believes you were being sarcastic you're an even bigger idiot than we all think.

No rematch with Pascal?
Sorry Dawson but you let me down in that fight. If you want me back as a fan you need to rematch Pascal and beat him. :lol1:
Dawson didn't just let me down in that fight. He left me with 0 points and was the reason I stopped believing in fighters (sans Floyd). Nice to see him back on the right track. I think he should go avenge that loss and right that wrong.
Hopkins was beyond terrible tonight. Terrible to whole other level.
He needs to retire immediately.
sounds like a personal problem!!....give the old dude a break dam!!...the B.Hop butchers can't wait to cut into him it seems...dam!!
I like clean punches, and most of the rounds I gave the early rounds to Hopkins and gave a clean sweep to Dawson from the 5th until 9th. The first I gave it even.
I saw nothing legitimately landing on Hopkins until about the 7th. Everything was arm punches that Hopkins was catching.
Dawson is just terrible. Hopkins had a surge in the 11th, the 9th I gave to Hopkins for the cleaner punches and because Dawson didn't assert himself.
Overall, I don't give rounds for meaningless flurries that don't land. Dawson didn't really start landing meaningful punches until the 7th. Just a boring fight overall, but hey, a real judge seemed to be on the same page as me, so hey, vindication
Maybe you need to rewatch it b/c clean punches Hop landed atleast a maximum of 7
Are you serious?
I respect him for sticking to his word.
Other people in here are changing their story :lol1:
The Hopkins fans in the first round who were loud are nowhere to be seen.
Baffling. He wasn't with Scully I don't think, wasn't Steward training him for that fight? Maybe that's what happened. I can't think of a better explanation.
no he was with Eddie mustafa. steward trained him for the following fight against that nobody then chad went with scully

Chad won the fight...out with the old and in with the NEW!!!...props to Scully and them dudes!!
I'm proud of my dude...I felt like he gave whatever he had left and thats cool with me!!....the man the legend!!
It was a robbery, Pascal was out on his feet and they stopped the fight on cuts when Dawson wanted to continue.
I'm hoping he rematches Pascal if he gets past Cloud.
Yea but Dawson started very slow in that fight. I didn't like the way he fought.
